Come per gli altri due anelli (grande e medio) l'itinerario prende il via da Filattiera una piccola località della Lunigiana in provincia di Massa Carrara e precisamente dal piazzale antistante la Pieve di Sorano. L'itinerario, segue a "ritroso" il tracciato della Via Francigena seguendo (all'incontrario) la ben presente segnaletica.
La seguiamo fino al Borgo di Ponticello ed ivi giunti, la abbandoniamo, per proseguire su strada asfaltata (a scarso traffico veicolare) fino il Borgo di Caprio. Appena superata la Chiesa con campanile. (ben visibili di fronte a noi), lasciamo l'asfalto e prendiamo a sx una sterrata che transita a fianco della vecchia scuola elementare. Con andamento rettilineo, nella parte finale aggira una casetta in legno ed incomincia a salire su bella collina coltivata ad ulivi pervenendo ad un bivio riconoscibile da un bell'esemplare di quercia. Seguiamo a dx e mantenendo la principale giungiamo ad un cancello. Avendo cura di richiuderlo (bestiame al pascolo) giungiamo ad una casa in legno in loc. Belvedere, dove dobbiamo aggirare sulla dx il querceto di fronte a noi, in direzione della visibile recinzione posta più a monte, uscendo dalla proprietà. Ignoriamo il sentiero di dx (da cui scendiamo al ritorno) e proseguiamo diritti in bel sentiero a mezza costa che in circa un kilometro ci porta ad una casa in sasso. Superatala, proseguiamo sullo sterrato principale fino a incrociare la strada asfaltata. Andiamo a dx e mantenendo l'asfalto giungiamo ad incrocio poco a monte del paese di Macerie. Proseguiamo a sx in dir. Tarasco ed al successivo incrocio a dx sempre in dir. Tarasco. Effettuati 100 mt circa, abbandoniamo l'asfalto e voltiamo a dx in salita sterrata che, in piacevolissimi zig-zag, ci porta in 5 km ai Prati di Logarghena di fronte ad un'isolata casa bianca. Scendiamo a dx trovando in breve fondo asfaltato e tenuto senza possibilità di errore ci allontaniamo dai Prati perdendo decisamente quota e pervenendo dopo alcuni km ad un bivio dove dobbiamo prendere a sx in direzione Serravalle. In breve perveniamo ad un panoramico tornante sinistrorso poco a monte del Paese di Serravalle dove dobbiamo abbandonare l'asfalto e prendere a dx, (ovvero proseguire diritti) sull' invitante sterrata che ci porta in discesa, ad una serie di case poste longitudinalmente rispetto alla strada. Siamo in località Case Restori. Superata l'ultima casa, lo sterrato finisce, bisognerà tuttavia individuare un nascosto sentiero di fronte a noi che imboccato ci riporta a loc. Belvedere. Ripercorrendo a ritroso il percorso già fatto, torniamo al punto di partenza.

As for the other two rings (large and medium) the route takes away from the Lunigiana Filattiera a small town in the province of Massa Carrara and precisely from the square in front of the parish church of Sorano. The route follows a "backwards" along the route of the Via Francigena (upside down) the signs in mind.
The follow up to the village of Bridge and arriving there, we leave it to continue on the paved road (in poor vehicular traffic) until the Borgo di Caprio. Just past the church with a bell tower. (Clearly visible in front of us), we leave the asphalt and we left a dirt road that passes next to the old elementary school. With straight line, at the end around a wooden house and begins to climb up the beautiful hill planted with olive trees reaching a crossroads recognizable by a fine specimen of oak. We follow to the right and keeping the main come to a gate. Taking care to close it again (grazing cattle) we arrive at a wooden house in the locality. Belvedere, where we have to work around the oak grove on the right in front of us, in the direction of the visible fence post further upstream, leaving the property. We do not know the path to the right (from which we descend back) and continue straight into beautiful path half that in about a mile brings us to a stone house. Superatala, continue on the main dirt road until you cross the road. Let's go to the right and keeping the track we come to crossroads just upstream of the village of Debris. We continue left into dir. Tarasco and at the next intersection turn right always say. Tarasco. Performed about 100 meters, we leave the asphalt and we turn right uphill dirt, very pleasant in a zig-zag, takes us to 5 km Meadows Logarghena in front of a secluded white house. We go down to the right in finding short asphalt and held without possibility of error we move away from the Meadows losing considerable altitude and arriving after a few miles at a crossroads where we have to take a left towards Serravalle. In short, we come to a scenic winding road just upstream of the town of Serravalle where we have to leave the track and go right (or go straight) on 'inviting dirt road that leads downhill to a number of houses placed longitudinally with respect to the road. We at Case Restori. After passing the last house, the dirt road ends, but must find a hidden path in front of us that we embarked back to loc. Belvedere. Tracing back the path already, let's get back to the starting point.
