Tour vom Hafen Cala D'Or zum Castell de Santueri auf knapp über 400 Metern über Meereshöhe. Diese von den Arabern errichtete Festung wurde von Jaime I., dem König von Aragon, bei der Wiedereroberung der Balearen durch seine Truppen 1229 weitgehend zerstört und im 14. Jahrhundert als Schutz gegen Piratenangriffe wieder aufgebaut und erweitert. Von dort oben gibt es einen herrlichen Blick über die Südostküste Mallorcas bis hin zur kleinen Nachbarinsel Cabrera. Schön ist die Abfahrt auf Schotter zur Küste hin. Den Rest der Tour fährt man fast ausschließlich auf Asphalt.

Tour from the port of Cala D'Or on Castell de Santueri to just over 400 meters above sea level. This fortress was built by the Arabs of Jaime I, king of Aragon, at the re-conquest of the Balearic Islands by his troops in 1229 largely destroyed and rebuilt as protection against pirate attacks again in the 14th century and expanded. From up there, there is a magnificent view over the south east coast of Majorca to the small neighboring island of Cabrera. Beautiful is the departure point to gravel to the coast. The rest of the tour & nbsp; you drive almost exclusively on asphalt.
