Trail Description

See also Tour 1886 From the parking lot between Heubach and Bartholomew (still 1km from the car park Stock Bartholomew direction) it is in the woods on dirt roads to Lauterbrunnen castle. From there we drive on the steep Gefällstraße on asphalt after Kaiserslautern. Shortly before Kaiserslautern can also see the next valley, in which you will enter the same. The Labertal runs below the Ostfels of Rosensteins along. At the same time one gains along the small "Louder" strong in height. At the beginning of Labertals is left to the greenhouses a small source of running water, which gives very good drinking water. Who has been the bottle empty, can refuel here, or simply lounge so. If you have climbed the Rosenstein, you also have the same opportunity to visit the ruins at Rosenstein. The detour to Rosenstein is recommended, but not on Sunday afternoon, because here are many day trippers go. The path leads to a forest tavern over to the ruins, where you have a very good overview on Heubach and the "level" in front of the Swabian Alb. From Rosensteinpark place it goes in the forest until the first hard court, then in a moderate slope on the steep slope along toward the L1162 road you are driving along at 300m on the hunter, house and immediately leaves to the left again. After a few meters, the tower Bach is traversed, the one good, in normal water in a ford without drive through to refuel. Should it have been raining heavily, the water can be 50cm and more thoroughly here, so you should avoid the traffic incident or may well risk a short foot bath in warm weather. Caution, the stones can be very slippery. Then it goes up to the Devil's Blade, the "shoots" after heavy rains. The subsequent single track uphill is technically somewhat challenging, I have my hands full with the muddy ground, the roots and stones. On Barg Auer cross it goes downhill in the direction of oil mill hamlet idB and the long climb to Bernhardus. The rest of the route is easy to drive at a slight incline.
