Vom Parkplatz zwischen Heubach und Bartholomä (vom Parkplatz Stock noch 1km Richtung Bartholomä) geht es im Wald auf Schotterwegen nach Lauterburg. Von dort fährt man auf der steilen Gefällstraße auf Asphalt nach Lautern. Kurz vor Lautern kann man auch das nächste Tal sehen, in das man gleich einfahren wird. Das Labertal zieht sich unterhalb vom Ostfels des Rosensteins entlang. Gleichzeitig gewinnt man entlang der kleinen "Lauter" kräftig an Höhe. Am Beginn des Labertals ist links an den Gewächshäusern eine kleine gefasste Quelle, die sehr gutes Trinkwasser spendet. Wer schon die Flasche leer hat, kann hier nachtanken, oder sich einfach so erfrischen. Hat man den Rosenstein erklommen, hat man auch gleich Gelegenheit die Ruine Rosenstein zu besuchen. Der Abstecher zum Rosenstein ist zu empfehlen, jedoch nicht am Sonntag Nachmittag, da sind hier viele Ausflügler unterwegs. Der Weg führt an der Waldschenke vorbei zur Ruine, wo man einen sehr guten Überblick auf Heubach und die "Ebene" vor der Schwäbischen Alb hat. >> Tip von Eberhard Götzer (siehe Kommentar): Besuch der Höhle "Finsteres Loch": Nach dem Anstieg vom Labertal zum Rosenstein gehts nach rechts. Teilweise gibt es auch Hinweisschilder. Es muß noch etwa 50m einen steilen Abhang hinunter zum Eingang gegangen werden. Geöffnet ist das "Finstere Loch" von 01.05. bis 15.10. Der Ausgang (nach 140m) ist immer mit einem Gitter geschlossen.

From the parking lot between Heubach and Bartholomew (still 1km from the car park Stock Bartholomew direction) it is in the woods on dirt roads to Lauterbrunnen castle. From there we drive on the steep Gefällstraße on asphalt after Kaiserslautern. Shortly before Kaiserslautern can also see the next valley, in which you will enter the same. The Labertal runs below the Ostfels of Rosensteins along. At the same time one gains along the small "Louder" strong in height.
