Partiti dalla stazione di Ronta si prendono le indicazioni per Grezzano, poi per le Case di Risolaia, da quì parte una forestale, con alcuni tratti veramente impegnativi (oltre il 20% di pendenza), che ci porta sulla forestale di crinale CAI 00, giriamo a dx sino alla strada di collegamento che dalla Colla di Casaglia porta a Palazzuolo sul Senio, giriamo a sx, e poco dopo dei sali scendi, arriviamo al Passo della Sambuca, scendiamo un tratto e poco prima di una grande croce davanti a noi, sulla dx parte in ripida salita un sentiero segnalato dal CAI (tratti da bici in spalla) che ci conduce sino al CAI 505, il quale non lo abbandoneremo (quasi) più fino alla fine del tragitto. Da quì parte una tecnica discesa sino a Lozzole, poi nuovamente sale, sul M.Prevaligo, e poi inizia un divertente single-track che con dei sali e scendi(alcuni moderatamente tecnici) ci porta sul Passo del Carnevale. Da quì giriamo a dx sull'asfalto e al primo bivio sulla sx giriamo e saliamo sulla carrareccia sino a incrociare, poco prima della cava, la deviazione sulla dx che ci porta poco sopra l'abitato di Gamberaldi, giriamo a sx costeggiando una recinzione poi rimando quasi sempre in crinale, arriviamo su una carrareccia che ci conduce prima alla Chiesuola di Monte Romano poi vicino all'osservatorio, giriamo sulla asfaltata a sx e manteniamo questa sino a Cà Malanca. Da quì ri-inizia un tratto di crinale che con continui su e giù ci porta a Baghetto, giriamo a dx attraversando un castagnato poi ri-incrociamo il 505 che con dei sali e scendi ci riporta alla asfaltata che teniamo sino all'ingresso del Parco Carnè. Lo attraversiamo e dopo essere giunti sulla asfaltata delle Caibane, giriamo a sx sempre tenendo il CAI 505 sino ad una casa disabitata, da quì lasciamo per poco il 505, giriamo a dx per una carraia che ci conduce sino a una asfaltata, giriamo a sx in cima alla leggera salita, riprendiamo definitivamente il CAI 505, attraversiamo prima la dura salita che ci incontriamo, poi dop un leggero falsopiano, prendiamo uno stretto sentiero che ci costringerà a prendere la bici in spalla fino ad una strada asfaltata, da quì seguendo le segnaletiche del CAI, arriviamo davanti ad una Azienda vinicola e attraversiamo l'Olmatello, poi ri-prendiamo la asfaltata che ci conduce sino alla provinciale, dove è posto sul muro del sottopassaggio della ferrovia, la targa dell'inizio del sentiero CAI 505.
Come punti d'acqua ci sono Ronta, una sorgente al rifugio Frassineta posto sulla forestale che da Case di Risolaia porta al CAI 00, Ristorante Croce Daniele che si trova sotto l'osservatorio di Monte Romano e il Bar-Ristorante Il Manicomio sulle Caibane. Per i viveri, meglio fare scorta prima a Ronta (c'è un bar con vicino un delizioso forno).

Started from the station Ronta take the signs for Grezzano, then the Houses of Risolaia, from here apart from a forest, with some sections really challenging (more than 20% slope), which leads us along the forest ridge CAI 00, turn right up to the link road that leads to the glue Casaglia Palazzuolo sul Senio, turn left, and shortly after the ups and downs, we come to the Passo della Sambuca, go down at once, and just before a large cross in front of us, on the dx part in a steep ascent path marked by the CAI (whether by bike on his shoulder) that leads up to the CAI 505, which does not abandon him (almost) until the end of the journey. From here part of a technical descent to Lozzole, then rises again on M.Prevaligo, and then begins a fun single-track that with the ups and downs (some moderately technical) takes us to the Passo del Carnevale. From here we turn right on the tarmac and at the first junction turn left and climb on the cart road until you cross, just before the quarry, the deviation on the right that leads just above the village of Gamberaldi, turn left along a fence then almost always in reference ridge, we get on a track that leads us first to the Binnacle of Monte Romano then close the observatory, turn left on the tarmac and we keep this up to Cà Malanca. From here re-starts a stretch of ridge with constant up and down brings us to Baghetto, turn right through a castagnato then re-crossed the 505 with the ups and downs that brings us back to the road that we take to the entrance of the Park Carnè. The cross and after arriving on the tarmac of Caibane, turn left still holding the CAI 505 up to an empty house, we leave from here for just the 505, turn right on a dirt road that leads up to a paved, turn left at the top of a slight slope, we take the final CAI 505, cross the first tough climb we meet, then a slight false flat dop, we take a narrow path that will force us to take the bike on his shoulder up to a paved road, from here follow the signs of CAI, we arrive in front of a Winery and cross the Olmatello, then re-take the road that leads up to the province, where it is placed on the wall of the underpass of the railway, the license plate beginning of the CAI 505 < br>
water points are Ronta, a source at the shelter Frassineta place on the forest that houses Risolaia leads to CAI 00, Daniel Cross Restaurant which is located below the observatory of Monte Romano and the Bar-Restaurant The Madhouse on Caibane. For food, better stock up before a Ronta (there is a bar with a delicious close the oven).
