Al fine di evitare l'avvicinamento alla salita lungo la strada statale, dopo aver attraversato le graziose vie di Piano d'Arta, attraverso un sentiero si scende fino alla statale attraversandola e portandosi sul lato opposto. Si attraversano quindi gli abitati di Priola e Sutrio e giunti a Cercivento ci si dirige verso destra verso il ponte in costruzione (novembre 09); attraversato il torrente lungo una strada di servizio posta a monte del ponte, si riattraversa la statale per portarsi a Rivo da dove inizia l'ascesa. I primi due chilometri di salita si svolgono su tratti cementati con pendenze elevate (>20%) e risultano molto dispendiosi; poi la pendenza diminuisce notevolmente sino alla quota massima raggiunta. Non si segue la pista forestale sino alla sua conclusione ma subito dopo un tornante verso sx, ci si immette nel bosco alla ricerca del sentiero (CAI 409) che scende. La bellissima discesa è interamente su tale sentiero dal fondo compatto per oltre 2/3 e pietroso solamente nella parte finale. Poco dopo l'inizio della discesa è d'obbligo una deviazione a sx per ammirare il singolare fenomeno erosivo dei Lander.

In order to avoid the approach to the climb along the highway, after passing through the charming streets of Piano d'Arta, through a path leads down to the main road passing through it and reaching the opposite side. You then pass through the villages of Priola and Sutrio and joints Cercivento we head to the right towards the bridge under construction (November 09); crossing the stream along a service road located upstream of the bridge, it revisits the state to move to Rivo from where the ascent begins. The first two miles of uphill stretches are held on cemented with steep slopes (> 20%) and are very expensive; then the slope decreases significantly until the maximum altitude reached. Do you follow the forest track to its conclusion but just after a bend to the left, you enter into the forest in search of the path (CAI 409) going down. The beautiful descent is entirely on the path from the bottom to compact more than 3.2 stony and only at the end. Shortly after the beginning of the descent is a must detour to the left to admire the unique erosion of the Lander.
