Senso orario – Km 27 – Dislivello 1100m – Altezza min. 440m / max. 1440m
Lasciata l'auto ad Arta Terme si raggiunge la strada statale che si lascia dopo 400m in direzione Piano d'Arta. Passato il rio Randice e l'agriturismo Randis, si stacca sulla sx un single trail scorrevole sul tratto iniziale e più tecnico nel bosco che raggiunge la SS52 bis a pochi metri dell'incrocio con la strada che porta verso Noiariis e Priola. Oltrepassato il ponte, si raggiungono dapprima i due paesi, poi Sutrio e Cercivento di sotto dove all'altezza del ponte si seguono le indicazioni per il campo sportivo. Passato il ponte sul torrente, si ritrova la SS52bis e di fronte a noi troveremo l'imbocco per il paese di Rivo. Da questo momento può dirsi iniziata l'ascesa vera e propria. Dopo aver attraversato il paese si piega su una ripida stradina la quale esordisce subito con tutta la sua brutalità con una tremenda rampa in cemento che non concederà alcuna tregua per oltre 2km. Per rifiatare è necessario attendere il momento in cui al cemento si sostituisce in modo definitivo lo sterrato. Da questo punto in avanti la salita diventa comodamente pedalabile.
Si prosegue fino al km 15,8 (W01) dove si imbocca a dx in salita con bici in spalla su salita molto ripida, il sentiero CAI 408 per 400m fino alla casera di m.te Cucco(m1440) ormai invasa dalla vegetazione ed in totale abbandono e punto più alto del nostro itinerario. Passati davanti alla casera si riprende il sentiero dal lato opposto in discesa. Il sentiero più ripido nella parte iniziale, diventa scorrevole e veloce fino ad incontrare il bivio per il bivacco Lander su sterrato largo e compatto. Si intraprende questa rapida disgressione dalla discesa per raggiungere il panoramico orlo dell'anfiteatro modellato dai caratteristici fenomeni di erosione (campanili dei Lander). Ritornati sui nostri passi, riprenderemo sulla sx la discesa lungo il bel sentiero naturalistico dei Lander fino a quota 800m (crocefisso sulla sx) dove prenderemo a dx fino ad incrociare alla fine la carrareccia a monte del paese dove si piega a dx e si confluisce sulla strada percorsa all' andata, da dove si raggiunge l'auto con alcune piccole deviazioni alla scoperta del bel paese di Arta Terme.

Leave the car in Arta Terme you reach the road that is left after 400m in the direction of Piano d'Arta. Past the river and the farm Randice Randis, goes off to the left a single trail sliding on the initial section and more technical in the forest that reaches the SS52 a few meters of the intersection with the road leading to Noiariis and Priola. After crossing the bridge, you'll first reach the two countries, and then Sutrio Cercivento below where the height of the bridge and follow the signs to the sports field. After the bridge over the stream, we find the SS52bis in front of us and we will find the entrance to the village of Rivo. From this moment can be said begun the ascent genuine. After crossing the country bends on a steep road which begins immediately with all its brutality with tremendous concrete ramp that will not grant any respite for more than 2km. You need to catch your breath waiting for the moment when the cement is replaced permanently the dirt. From this point forward, the climb becomes easily pedaled.
Continue to km 15.8 (W01) where you turn right uphill with the bike on the shoulder of very steep climb, the trail CAI 408 to 400m to the dairy of Mt Cucco (M1440) now overgrown and in disrepair and the highest point of our journey. Passed in front of the dairy take the path on the opposite side down. The steeper path in the beginning, it becomes smoother and faster until you reach the junction for the bivouac Lander on dirt off and compact. It undertakes this digression from the rapid descent to reach the scenic rim of the amphitheater shaped by the characteristic erosion (bell Lander). Retracing our steps, we will resume the descent on the left along the beautiful nature trail Lander to a height of 800m (crucifix on the left) where we will turn right until you reach the end of the cart ahead of the country where it bends to the right and flows on road traveled all 'round, from where you can reach the car with a few small detours to explore the beautiful town of Arta Terme.
