Die Tour führt von einem der Campingplätze in Agno über teils gut befahrene Straßen nach Lugano. Auf dem Weg kommt man in Lugano an der Talstation der Bergbahn zum Monte Bre vorbei. Da man an dieser Station nicht einsteigen kann, muss man die ersten Höhenmeter kurbeln bis zur Mittelstation, die ebenfalls am Weg dieser Tour liegt. Wer sich ein paar Höhenmeter ergaunern möchte, kann hier in die Bahn samt Bike einsteigen und auf den Monte Bre fahren. WWW.MONTEBRE.CH Nicht ganz billig, wer aber die Halbtax-Karte aus der Schweiz besitzt, kann sich die Hälfte des Fahrpreises sparen. Entschlossene Biker aber radeln an dieser Mittelstation weiter in Richtung Bre. Wer die Alternative mit der Bahn gewählt hat, sollte von der Bergstation abfahren nach Bre und stößt hier wieder auf den Track dieser Tour. Nach möglicher Rast kurbelt man sich nun entlang der MTB-Routenbeschilderung immer weiter bergauf. Wenn man den Wald erreicht hat, wird der Weg immer steiler und nur dicke Waden und Kämpfergeist halten einen auf dem Bike. Es ist steil und schwierig. Wer den höchsten Punkt der Tour erreicht hat, kann sich auf einen herrlichen Trail freuen, der einen direkt auf der Höhe bis zur Alpe Bolla führt, wo man sich in herrlichem Ambiente von den Strapazen erholen kann. Danach fährt man den Trail wieder in entgegengesetzter Richtung zurück, biegt aber nach kurzer Zeit rechts ab, um nicht wieder zurück nach Bre zu gelangen. Die nun folgende Schotter-Abfahrt ist ein Genuss, auch wenn sie gegen später immer schwerer wird. Man kommt auf einen Wanderweg und nur harte Genossen werden hier alles auf dem Bike absolvieren können. Es reizt aber, die verblockten Stellen und Stufen zu fahren. Nachdem man auf die Straße gelangt ist, muss man sich wieder hinab in den Grossstadtdschungel begeben und durch die dicht befahrenen Straßen zurück zum Campingplatz fahren. Auf dem letzten Teil der Tour muss man über einen kleinen Berg, der noch ein bisschen Kraft raubt. Aber die Erinnerung an die schöne Tour läßt auch diesen schnell vergessen. Am Campingplatz angelangt, ist man eine tolle Tour mit ca. 1180 HM gefahren und etwa 38 km. Die Tour lohnt sich auf jeden Fall schon alleine wegen der Trails bei der Alpe Bolla :-))))

The ensuing gravel descent is a treat, even if it becomes harder to later. It comes on a hiking trail, hard comrades be able to complete everything on the bike. It is tempting to take the interlocked points and levels. After being spilled on the road, you have to go back down in the urban jungle and driving through the heavy traffic of the streets back to the campsite. In the last part of the tour you have a small mountain that still robs a bit of power. But the memory of the beautiful hike can also those quickly forgotten. At the campsite arrived, we drove a great tour with 1180 HM and about 38 km away. The tour is worthwhile in any case, if only for the trails at Alpe Bolla:-))))
