La salita è quella del giro d'italia e, pur essendo su asfalto, richiede un notevole impegno a causa delle pendenze di alcuni tratti. La discesa si svolge su sentiero sino a Ravascletto; la realizzazione di una pista di sci sul versante nord potrebbe aver modificato l'itinerario. Da percorrere in senso antiorario.
