Trail Description


Anfangs –und Endpunkt der Tour ist der Parkplatz am Sportplatz in Sinspert.Die Strecke führt von dort bergab, links am Friedhof vorbei, nach Breidenbach. Am Ortsausgang folgt man einem schmalen Teerweg bergauf zur Ortschaft Schönenbach. Hier bietet sich bereits der erste Panoramablick. Oberhalb von Schönenbach überquert man die A4 Köln-Olpe, um diese nach ca. 350 m wieder zu unterqueren. Nun folgt man der Straße parallel zur Autobahn. Indem man die Autobahn noch mal unterquert, folgt man dem Wanderweg „Raute 3“ durch die Ortschaften Berghausen und Dorn bis zum Aussichtsturm oberhalb von Derschlag. Von hier bietet sich ein herrlicher Blick über das Aggertal. Vom Turm folgt man einem nicht markierten Weg bergab, bis man oberhalb vom ehemaligen „Derschlager Bahnhof“ auf den Wanderweg mit dem „Umgedrehten "T“ stößt. Jetzt geht’s bergauf zum nicht markierten Höhenweg oberhalb des Aggertals. Diesem folgt man bis zu einer Hochspannungsleitung, die von Rebbelroth nach Alferzhagen führt. Von hier sieht man sowohl das Kreiskrankenhaus auf der Berstig, als auch das Kreishaus in Gummersbach. Jetzt folgt man dem Wanderweg A1/A2 durch Merkhausen und auf der K 57 bis zum Ortsausgangs und dann scharf links hinunter durch Marienhagen bis Alpermühle (keine Angst, der Hund ist angeleint). Jetzt folgt ein Anstieg über den Wanderweg A3 bis zum Ortseingang von Freckhausen. Man folgt jetzt der Straße bis hinunter nach Drespe. Nach der Ortsdurchfahrt orientiert man sich nach links um dem Weg entlang des Volkenrather Bachs bis zur folgen, bis dieser wieder auf die L96 trifft. Dieser folgt man bis zur Ortsmitte von Volkenrath. Ab jetzt von man rechts dem Wanderweg „Raute 3“ bergauf durch Sotterbach und anschließend bergab bis zum Biebersteiner Stausee. Nun folgt man dem Wanderweg A1 an den Fischteichen entlang über Eichholz bis nach Schemmerhausen. Von hier fährt man entweder auf der L148 und L324 weiter zum Ausgangsort. Oder man folgt dem Wanderweg A1 /X22 bis man vor Sinspert wieder auf die L324 gelangt. Die Strecke wurde am 15.03.08 bei herrlichen Frühlingswetter abgefahren.

Now it's uphill to the unmarked mountain trail above the Aggertals. Follow it up to a high voltage line, the results of Rebbelroth after Alferzhagen. From here you can see both the district hospital on the Berstig, as well as the District House in Gummersbach. now follow the trail A1 / A2 by shopping Hausen and on the K 57 to Ortsausgangs and then a sharp left down by Marie Hagen to Alper mill (do not worry, the dog is on leash). now follows a rise above the trail A3 until the entrance to Freckhausen. now Follow the road down to Drespe.
