Überarbeitete Version mit noch mehr Spass ! Die Tour startet im bayerischen Gundelfingen auf dem Sägplatz in der Nähe des Schnelleparks, Dort gibt es auch Parkmöglichkeiten. Es geht entlang der Brenz Richtung Bächingen. Dort am Friedhof und Schloss vorbei Richtung Sontheim in Baden Württemberg. Auf schnellstem Wege durchquert man Sontheim und am Ortsausgang geht es nach Überquerung der Bahnstrecke nach oben Richtung Sportplatz Sontheim. Dort wartet der erste Trail auf uns. Durch die Wälder und weitere Trails erreicht man das Sportzentrum Niederstotzingen. Pausen können jederzeit an den zahlreichen Bänken gemacht werden. Wir fahren Richtung Norden durch den Wald Richtung Ruine Kaltenburg. Dort ist der Fußweg durchaus mit dem Rad befahrbar - wenn wir es auch 1x über einen Baumstamm heben müssen. Die Besichtigung der Wehranlage lohn auf alle Fälle. Den gleichen Weg geht es wieder hinunter und vorbei an der Charlottenhöhle entlang des kleinen Jakobswegles weiter Richtung Burgberg. Wir erklimmen den Schlossberg und fahren dann nach Oste wo sich bald ein Blick in das Brenztal bietet. Durch den Wald gelangen wir nach Bergenweiler. Entlang der Bahnlinie erreichen wir Sontheim und dann nach Unterquerung der Bahn das Schloss Brenz. Jetzt geht es noch entlang der Obstgärten Richtung Kloster Medlingen, dann weiter Richtung des Ortteils Untermedlingen und zum letzten Aussichtspunkt der Tour dem "hohlen Stein". Dort unten liegt der Flugplatz Gundelfingen, das wir auf einer wenig befahrenen Strasse dann bald erreichen. Am Sägplatz endet die Rundtour. Wer unterwegs noch nicht genug hat, der kann von Burgberg aus Hermaringen mit der Ruine Güssenburg ansteuern und erst dann nach Bergenweiler fahren.
