Anello di alta montagna dell’alta Valle Ubaye, che si snoda su strade ex militari ciclabili, con alcuni tratti a volte impegnativi per via di pendenze e fondo smosso, che consente di raggiungere le fortificazioni francesi, a quota 2785 mt. , che sono stati teatro di scontri durante l’ultimo conflitto mondiale. Si passerà prima dal Forte inferiore di Viraysse, per poi salire al Forte Superiore attraverso uno spettacolare sentiero quasi interamente ciclabile da chi ha una buona tecnica di guida.
Il percorso ad anello, attraverso il Col du Vallonnet con discesa a Fouillouze, ci permette di ammirare il meraviglioso Massiccio dello Chambeyron. Da Fouillouze dove potremmo fare tappa ristoratoria, ci sarà una leggera salita per raggiungere il sentiero che scende a Saint Paul, dove per asfalto, si tornerà alla macchina.
