Wir parken im Ort Grän an einem Spielplatz (im Track Parkplatz 2). Man hat auch die Möglichkeit direkt an der Stelle zu parken, dort wo die Auffahrt beginnt (im Track Parkplatz 1), jedoch stehen dort nur wenige Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Da wir im Ort Grän losfahren bis dorthin wo es dann rechts weg geht zum Auffahrtspunkt (beim Parkplatz 1) sind wir einigermaßen aufgewärmt und das kommt uns somit auch zu Gute. Es geht von Anfang an mit ca. 10% nach oben, danach noch weiter zunehmend mit bis zu 15% Steigung. Der Forstweg läßt sich gut fahren und es geht kontinuierlich im Halbschatten nach oben. Die Strecke scheint beliebt und ist gut befahren und es sind auch viele Wanderer unterwegs zu verschiedenen Tourenzielen... Das Wetter spielt mit, es ziehen zwar einige lockere Wolkenfelder durch, aber es reißt auch immer wieder auf und die Sonne bietet dann auch eine angenehme Wärme. Durch die saftige Steigung gewinnen wir rasch an Höhe und die knapp 700 hm bis zum Lift sind dann auch schnell geschafft. Danach geht es wie im Track aufgezeichnet links den Wanderweg zur Ostlerhütte (1838m) am Breitenberg hinauf. Wer hier die nötigen Körner hat, der kurbelt die bis zu 25 % Steigung nach oben, alle anderen müßen halt die ca. 130hm schieben. Aber, dass lohnt sich die Aussicht ist schon sehr toll und es gibt viel zu sehen und zu bestaunen. Den Forggen-, Hopfen- und Weißensee. Die Burg Falkenstein und nicht zu vergessen den mächtigen Aggenstein. Den kann man sehr gut von der Terrasse der Ostlerhütte bestaunen. Mit einem Fernglas kann man gut sehen wo und wie der Weg nach oben zum Gipfel führt. Wir haben uns vorgenommen, dass wir den Aggenstein in einer unserer nächsten Touren hinaufgehen werden... Die schmackhafte Gulaschsuppe und das Woizn lassen wir uns ausgiebig schmecken, es sind viele Gäste hier oben, kein Wunder beim dem tollen und konstanten Föhn, zieht es die Menschen in die Berge hinauf... :) Wir machen uns auf und treten die Abfahrt an. Der Weg hinunter bis zum Lift ist zwar kurz, aber dafür kernig und es macht großen Spaß! Man muß halt schön auf die Wanderer aufpaßen... Danach geht es weiter hinunter bis zur Bergstation Breitenberg, hier sehen wir uns noch den Panorama-aussichtspunkt an und fahren danach weiter die Serpentinen des Forstweges hinunter bis nach Steinach. Diese sind wir übrigens im Winter mit dem Zipfelbob hinuntergeheizt, daß hat einen mordsmäßigen Spaß gemacht. Wer will sieht sich vielleicht unser kleines Video dazu an... Wir umfahren dann im weiteren Verlauf quasi den Breitenberg. Über den Tannheimer Radweg und durch den herbstlichen Blätterwald und auch eine zeitlang an der Vils entlang. Auf dem gesamten Rückweg hinauf bis nach Grän machen wir ca. noch 250 hm bis zum Parkplatz am Spielplatz. Weitere Fotos und ein Video zu dieser Tour gibt es hier.

We park in the village Graen at a playground (in the track parking lot 2). It also has the ability to park right at the point where the driveway starts (in the track parking lot 1), but there are only a few parking spaces available. Since we leave in place Graen up to where it then turns right to the driveway point (at the parking lot 1) we are reasonably warmed up and thus comes to us also good. It goes from the start with about 10% upwards, then further increasing up to 15% slope. The forest can drive well and it is continuous in the penumbra up. The track seems popular and is well traveled and there are also many hikers traveling to various destinations tour ... The weather plays along, although some prefer loose thunderstorms through, but it also rips open again and the sun provides then a pleasant warmth . By the juicy pitch we gain altitude quickly and the nearly 700 hm to the lift are then also managed quickly. Then it's like in the recorded track left up the trail to Ostlerhütte (1838m) on the width of the mountain. Who here has the necessary grains, which boosts up to 25% slope upward, all others must halt the slide about 130hm. But that is worth the view is very great and there is plenty to see and marvel at. The Forggen, hops and Weissensee. The Falkenstein Castle and not to forget the mighty Aggenstein. The can very well admired from the terrace of Ostlerhütte. With binoculars you can well see where and how the path leads up to the summit. We have decided that we will go up the Aggenstein in one of our next trips ... The tasty goulash soup and the Woizn letting us taste extensively, there are many guests up here, no wonder when the great and constant hair dryer, it pulls the people into the mountains ... :) We make on us and take the exit. The road down to the lift is short, but meaty and it's great fun! You must stop at the beautiful walkers watch ... then continue down to the mountain station Breiteberg, here we are still the panoramic viewpoint and Then continue on the switchbacks of the forest path down to Steinach. This way, we are down heated in winter with the Zipfelbob that has made a murderous moderate fun. Who wants to maybe see our little video on ... We then sail around later in the quasi-width mountain. About the Tannheimer bike path and through the autumn leaves forest and also for a time at the Vils along. On the whole way back up until after Graen we make about another 250 hm to the car park at the playground. More photos and a video to this tour can be found here.
