Sieben Burgentour von Fischbach ins Elsaß Bei bestem Herbstwetter sind wir nach Fischbach gefahren. Unser Tourguide ist dort aufgewachsen und kennt das dortige Bikerevier wie seine Westentasche. Nach lockerem Einrollen waren wir an der Burgruine Blumenstein schon gut aufgewärmt. Dannach Einstieg in einen Singletrail hoch über den Maimont, dem höchsten Punkt der Tour mit prächtigem Blick über Fischbach, dann downhill auf Singletrail zur Wasigenstein, einer Felsenburg deren steiler Aufstieg mit MTB-Schuhen abenteuerlicher kaum sein kann. Über etliche Wurzelteppiche runter ins elsässiche Obersteinbach und dort nehmen wir den kurzen Anstieg zur Arnsburg. Im Tal verschnaufen wir etwas bis es auf schmalem Trail hoch zur Lutzelhardt geht. Wir durchfahren eine der Kernzonen des Biosphärenreservats Pfälzer Wald / Nordvogesen, d.h. hier wird keinerlei Forstwirtschaft betrieben, bis nach Sturzelbronn und von dort auf einer route forestiere bis zum Einstieg auf einen schmalen Trail in Richtung Burgruine Falkenstein. Je näher die Burg kommt, desto schmaler und steiler wird der Pfad. Toll, dass unsere französischen Nachbarn diese phantastische Burg endlich wieder zugänglich gemacht haben. Wir werden mit einem 360° Panorama für die Anstrengungen belohnt. Toller Pfad runter ins Tal und auf super Singletrail in Richtung Etang du Hanau. Die Ruine Waldeck lassen wir links liegen (zu gefährlich mit MTB-Schuhen). Die Tischreservierung in Sturzelbronn war für 13.00 Uhr geplant. Da wir erst um 15.00 Uhr eintrafen hat uns der Wirt kurzerhand weggeschickt. Den letzten Schokoladenriegel teilten wir uns brüderlich und wir kamen halb verhungert am Wanderheim „Hohe List“ an. Selten hat eine Kombi so gut geschmeckt. Auch den letzten Singletrail findet unser Tourguide und führt uns zum Abschluss an seinen Lieblingsplatz, den Pfälzer Woog bei Fischbach.
