Die Querfeldein-Tour ist besonders im letzten Drittel - Anstieg auf Kirschenwäldchen und Stoppelberg - sehr anstrengend. Der Stoppelberg bei Wikipedia: "Die Basaltkuppe mit in Richtung Südwesten langgestrecktem Rücken befindet sich an den nördlichen Ausläufern des Östlichen Hintertaunus. Der Berg zählt touristisch zum Naturpark Taunus. Auf der Erhebung befindet sich der jüngste Aussichtsturm Wetzlars. Er wurde 1929 von der Firma Hollmann, als Ersatz für den baufällig gewordenen hölzernen Vorgänger erbaut. 2004 begann man mit dem Bau eines 48 Meter hohen, als Stahlfachwerkkonstruktion ausgeführten Sendeturms."
