Rundkurs (Achter) von Zenting (Rathaus) über Daxstein zum Brotjacklriegel und auf anspruchsvollem Terrain wieder talwärts. Start / Ziel: Parkplatz hinter dem Rathaus in Zenting, Lankreis Freyung-Grafenau Einkehr: am Aussichtsturm, in Langfurth oder in Zenting Tourdauer: einschließlich Pausen, Turmbesteigung und Schlauchwechsel :( Verlauf: Wir starten am Rathaus und fahren ein kurzes Stück auf der Hauptstraße nach rechts / Richtung Westen. Am Ortsende geht es nach rechts in den beschilderten Wanderweg / Forststraße. Kurz danach beginnt eine erste technische Herausforderung, denn ein kurzer steiler Anstieg auf weichem Waldboden fordert entweder deine Technik und Schaltung oder einfach nur deine Kraft. Oben angekommen gelangen wir auf einer gepflasterten Straße zu einer abgelegenen Ranch um kurz danach das nächste steile Stück, zunächst auf Asphalt, dann auf guter Forststraße in Angriff zu nehmen. Etwas später gelangen wir auf asphaltierter Gemeindeverbindungsstraße bis zum Ortsteil (OT) "unterer Daxstein". Vor dem OT "oberer Daxstein" geht es nach rechts, zunächst auf aspahaltierter schmaler Straße, dann auf unbefestigter, sehr steiler Feldstraße. Da der Untergund zudem sehr locker ist, werden nur wenige dieses Teilstück auf dem MTB fahrend absolvieren. Als Belohnung gibt es für diese dritte "Kletterpassage" eine schöne Sitzbank mit traumhaftem Ausblick. Von hier aus geht es weiter auf sehr schöner Forstraße Richtung Sendemast bzw. Aussichtsturm Brotjacklriegel. Oben angekommen lohnt sich in jedem Fall der Aufstieg auf den hölzernen Aussichtsturm (1 €) und/oder die Einkehr (kleine Speisen sowie Getränke) in der kleinen "Turmwirtschaft". Die Abfahrt vom Brotjacklriegel wird technisch anspruchsvoll, weil mit zahlreichen kleineren und größeren Felsen übersäht. Uns hat die Abfahrt so gut gefallen, dass wir gleich noch eine Bonusrunde nach rechts über Langfurth, rund um den Sturmriegel, einbauten. So konnten wir das Teilstück zwischen Aussichtsturm und Sturmriegel-Skilift gleich nochmals bewältigen. Am Sturmriegel-Skilift erneut angekommen, geht es - abgesehen von einigen kernigen aber kurzen Schnappern - nach links und dann nur noch abwärts, teils auf Forststraßen, teils auf breiten Forstwegen aber stets gut befahrbar. Erst ab "mittlerer Daxstein" wird die Abfahrt nochmals technisch anspruchsvoller. Wir fahren auf einem breiten Wanderweg mit vielen kleineren und größeren Findlingen, die je nach Wetter und Jahreszeit auch eine Quelle/Bach für seine Zwecke benutzt. Das ist teilweise eine echte Herausforderung, wenn man auf dem MTB bleiben will. Am Ende dieses Weges, der sich zurecht auch "Panorama-Weg" nennt, gibt es erneut (zum x-ten Male) einen traumhaften Ausblick, der bei gutem Wetter bis in die Alpen reicht. We were able to cope with the section between observation tower and tower bolt-ski-lift again. Only from quot &, medium Daxstein & quot; is the exit again technically demanding. We take on a wide trail with many smaller and larger boulders, which also used depending on the weather and season, a source / Bach for his purposes. This is partly a real challenge if you want to stay on the MTB.
