Trail Description

Big-Uphill-L

Hi MTB'ler out there. Here is a (slightly) longer tour to the Ronneburg. The start and finish is in my home in Nidda. It is in a constant up and down (roller coaster) of Nidda from the edge of the quarry pass through the so-called "cliff" direction Michelnau. Shortly before Michelnau go right over the ridge, through the Orlitzhöfe by Eckard Born and a short trail down to Lißberg. There is the possibility a short detour to the local castle to make (the middle of town) before continuing on Bergheim to Büdingen. In Büdingen it's on the edge of the old city (Jerusalem Gate and city walls) over the still about 11km to Ronneburg. Just before the half-time target still lying in a forest a short but crisp Trail waits up to the castle on your cleats. After a well-earned break at the castle it goes back down the trail now and we get on Düdelsheim on the way to Glauberg to do something for the fans of the local excavations. The tour goes on the edge of the royal grave (hill) past the plateau and leads us through a short and somewhat tricky descent down towards Glauburg. At Vulkanradweg and Effolderbach over it goes back over Ranstadt to Nidda. Enjoy this round. Big-Uphill-L
