Die Tour beginnt nach Vorschlag der Radwanderkarte des Landkreises Neustadt a.d.Waldnaab in Windischeschenbach. Meine Tour begann in der Freizeitanlage der Stadt Neustadt a.d.Waldnaab. Größtenteils fuhr ich auf dem Radweg Nr. 3. Leider sind nicht mehr alle Beschilderungen zu finden. Deswegen sollte man die Radwanderkarte oder gpx-Daten zu Hilfe nehmen. Die Tour ist sehr abwechslungsreich. es gibt viele tolle Aussichten über die herrliche Oberpfälzer Landschaft. Größtenteils fährt man auf asphaltierten Flurbereinigungswegen, auf denen ganz selten mal ein Auto kommt. Ein Höhepunkt ist auch die Fahrt durch das Waldnaabtal.
