Charakter Schöne Tour mit größtenteils leichten Trails Auffahrt teilweise auf alter Bahntrasse mit Tunnels Querung der Bletterbachschlucht an einer passablen Stelle mit Schiebestrecken Abfahrt auf dem Wahlfahrtsweg von Weissenstein nach Leifers (S1) Beschreibung Vom Bahnhof die Straße weiter an den Gleisen entlang Richtung Süden und an der Etsch auf die Radroute wechseln. Nach dem Kiosk an der SS12 noch bis zum Ende des Zauns und dann runter zum Kreisverkehr und Richtung Ortschaft Vill einordnen. Nach dem Hotel links und durch das Weinanbaugebiet hoch. Knapp 200m nachdem man die alte Bahnstrecke tangiert hat, diagonal links an den Weinstöcken entlang und durch die Kehre auf dem Schotterweg weiter. An der Verzweigung, bereits auf Teer, rechts und bis zur SP17 vor. Die Straße queren und gegenüber Richtung Pinzon fahren, aber die nächste links nach Montan abbiegen. Beim Haud "Hof am Keller" rechts auf den Steinweg steil bergauf, zwischen den Gebäuden durch und dann rechts auf die SP59. Danach links auf die geschildterte, alte Bahnwegtrasse. Auf dieser gehts mit mäßiger Steigung und Tunneldurchfahrten weiter. Bald nach dem zweiten Tunnel rechts auf Teer und immer nach den Bahnweg Schildern richten, bis man schließlich zwischen den Apfelstöcken wieder auf der Bahntrasse ist. Es folgen weitere Tunnel. Nach dem Pausahof beim ehemaligen Bahnhof rechts auf der Bahntrasse weiter. Oberhalb Kaltenbrunn direkt links von der SP59 den Steig hinab. In Kaltenbrunn rechts bis zum Brunnen bei einem Geschäft. Dort neben dem Geschäft in den Hinterhof, über die Brücke und nach rechts weiter. Vor dem Sportplatz geradeaus auf den Waldweg mit steiler Rampe. Wieder auf Schotter geradeaus steil zur Straße hoch und nach links weiter bergauf. In Unterradein weiter Richtung Radein. Dann aber links Richtung Fölserhof. Direkt durch den Hof des Schullandheims Fölserhof und auf dem Schotterweg weiter (8er). Stets auf diesem, bald mit rötlichen Schotter befestigten Weg bleiben. Am Ende auf dem weiterführenden Steig (S2) bis zum Bletterbachsteg. Auf der anderen Seite müssen wir ein Stück hochschieben. Der Weg wird bald zu einem steilen Karrenweg, den man, anfangs noch mit einigen Unterbrechungen, durchaus fahren kann. Der Karrenweg endet am Unichhof, wo wir links die Teerzufahrt bis zum Ende hochfahren. Dort nach rechts auf die Straße einschlagen. Vorm Scheidnerhof wieder rechts weiter und geradeaus bis zu den Geoparc Parkplätzen. Links vom letzten Parkplatz bringt uns eine Forststraße weiter durch das Geoparcgebiet. An einer Verzweigung (nach dem Sumpfgebiet) links Richtung Lahneralm. Bei der Lahneralm (Einkehrmöglichkeit) über das Wiesenfeld und auf Schotter weiter Richtung Schmiederalm. An der Teerstraße rechts bergauf bis zur Schmiederalm (Einkehrmöglichkeit, die einzige mit Aussicht). Am anderen Ende des Parkplatzes auf der Forststraße weiter. An der Schönrastalm (Einkehrmöglichkeit) vorbei und bald links Richtung Weissenstein. Ca. 600m nach dem Abzweig links auf den Steig Richtung Weissenstein wechseln (S1) und auf diesem bis zum Kloster. Links am Klostergebäude vorbei und runter bis zur Straße. Dort zum anderen Ende des Parkplatzes und in den 1er Waldweg Richtung Halbweg (S1). Jetzt immer Richtung 1er Halbweg halten. An der Teerstraße diese queren und auf dem Weg daneben kurz bergauf. Dann nach rechts abbiegen, am Gasthof Dreiviertelweg vorbei und auf der 1er Route weiter bergab (S1). Es folgen einige schöne Passagen und später passiert man den verfallenen Gasthof Halbweg. In der Nähe des Buchnerhofs geradeaus auf den jetzt etwas schwierigeren 1er bleiben (S1+). Man gelangt an einem betonierten Weg und fährt diesen bergab. Nach der Rechtskehre hat man die Möglichkeit wieder kurz nach links in den Steig zu wechseln. Und auch später zweigt der Steig ein letztes Mal wieder links vom Betonweg ab und endet in der Weissensteiner Straße in der Talsohle. Dieser Straße nach links bergab in den Ort Leifers folgen. Gleich beim ersten Linksabzweig in die Lichtensteinstraße und dann wieder links in die Luigi Negrelli Straße. Vor dem Spielplatz links und in der Parkanlage den Radweg am Brantenbach entlang bergab bis zur Straße. Nach links auf der SS12 weiter und nach dem Gewerbegebiet rechts nach Branzoll abbiegen. Auf dieser Straße geradeaus durch den Ort und kurz bevor man wieder die SS12 erreichen würde leicht rechts in die alte Landstraße. Auf dieser wenig befahrenen Straße gehts nun bis Ausgangspunkt am Bahnhof Auer. Varianten Den Schwenker zur Lahneralm kann man weglassen und am letzten Abzweig vor den Geoparc Parkplätzen direkt zur Schmiederalm hochfahren. Anmerkungen vom Urheber Die angegebene Schwierigkeit der zu fahrenden Trails basiert auf der allgemein empfohlenen Singletrail Skala. Es handelt sich dabei um eine subjektive Einschätzung von mir. Ich verlange von Nachfahrern rücksichtsvolles und gefährdungsfreies Verhalten gegenüber allen anderen Wegnutzern sowie angepasstes und schonendes Fahren für den bestmöglichen Erhalt der Wege und Natur.
