Beschreibung: Wer in den Harz fährt kommt irgendwie nicht um den Brocken rum! Diesmal habe ich die Route etwas variiert und bin zunächst in Richtung Radaufall gefahren. Von da aus habe ich dann bei einem knackigen Serpentinenanstieg die ersten Höhenmeter erledigt. Ab Radautal ging es in Richtung des Eckerstausees, welcher irgendwie auch immer "im Weg" ist wenn man zum Brocken will. Anders als üblich bin ich nicht über die Staumauer gefahren, sondern bin am sog. Pionierweg weiter am Stausee entlang gefahren. Nette Alternative, aber aufgrund des sehr felsigen Untergrunds nicht leicht zu fahren. Die Überquerung der Ecker im südlichsten Teil der Route erfordert schon etwas akrobatisches Geschick, vor allem wenn man allein unterwegs ist. Ab Scharfenstein bin ich nicht entgegen den Uhrzeigersinn zum Brocken gefahren: Die kurze Route (der linke Zweig des Tracks) ist zwar deutlich kürzer (ca 3,8 km) aber höllisch steil! Die längere Route (rechter Zweig) ist länger, dafür aber bei Weitem nicht so steil - fahrbar ist sie allerdings auch nicht uneingeschränkt. Ab dem Gipfel wird es dann lustig: Der Kolonnenweg bis Scharfenstein stellt schon eine Herausforderung für die Bremsen dar! Aber Achtung: Einige Platten haben sich horizontal verschoben und könnten bei hohem Tempo Killer für die Reifen/Felge sein! Ab Scharfenstein geht es dann über die Staumauer und am Molkehaus vorbei wieder nach Bad Harzburg.
