Trail Description

Ausgeschildert ist hier u.a. Krankenhaus Waldkirch.

Hanger for the tour is the Vierburgenweg. Overall einMix of forest and hiking trails, little Straße.Der soil on the hills is quite clayey. Good mobile when it rained a few days nciht. Otherwise, the mess is correspondingly large! From the starting point in Emmen things you drive on fields on the Elz and on about Buchholz towards Waldkirch. Before crossing the road behind Batzenhäusle the railway line towards Waldkirch center, a footpath rises before one on in the forest. Signposted is here, among others Hospital Waldkirch. The road is ever a good start for the rest. From the way you follow the signs Kastelburg on forest roads. At the Kastelburg arrived the Vierburgenweg starts directly at the question level. From here only a narrow footpath. Labeling is the yellow diamond, at larger signs always quot with &; Vierburgenweg & quot; provided. From the ridge we reached rises again to Sexau and from there up to the second castle: the stronghold. Now we stay in at about the level and continue along the trail with the yellow diamond. The trail leads across Weigend druch the forest, he crossed a few streets before the Eichberg tower another highlight is managed. From Ecihbergturm to Landeck then the trail lovers get their money. In the ruined castle Landeck can stop to eat, or just take a tour of the castle. From here it is a few meters on the road to free office along with serpentine (I probably only see the sign) until the road branches off to the left again into the forest. Who does not want to wear / pushing here, should not the Gallus trail ride, but turn either below or above further to the northeast. However, the sliding passage is not very long. Finally you reach the road between Malterdingen and free office follows this downhill and takes back bal Guide to em Vierburgenweg. The last castle, Lichteneck unfortunately, is not freely available, but can only be visited by appointment. If you want that, so must take care of it in advance. I have again used for the back part of the four-castle path and then I know way towards EM. The road leads to the picnic area Stilzer Fritz past., There you can also strengthen again before the last meters to the EM to be addressed.
