Giro “breve ma intenso” che si sviluppa alle pendici del monte Cornetto: per bikers esperti e amanti dei single trek. Dal centro di Folgaria si raggiunge rapidamente passo Sommo seguendo la SS350; da qui si prende a sinistra la comoda, ma a tratti erta, strada forestale che conduce alla località Paradiso ed al rifugio/albergo omonimo. Caldamente consigliata la deviazione di poche decine di metri per raggiungere la vicina chiesetta da dove è possibile godere di una vista straordinaria. Dal rifugio si prosegue in discesa a destra verso l’area prativa sottostante per poi imboccare una traccia (ex sentiero locale n°5) che si infila nel bosco. Qui inizia il bello; con curve a gomito,scalini, radici affioranti e pietre a mettere pepe al percorso. Dopo un chilometro circa ci si immette sul sentiero SAT 425 che percorre il versante sinistro della selvaggia val di gola. Occorre mantenere alta l’attenzione e la concentrazione:la traccia rimane stretta, il fondo è dissestato e non mancano tratti esposti. Scendendo di quota il tracciato si allarga guadagnando in scorrevolezza. Interessante ricordare che il sentiero che stiamo percorrendo ricalca fedelmente il tracciato di una bella carrozzabile militare costruita dagli austriaci durante il primo conflitto mondiale utilizzando come mano d’opera prigionieri di guerra. Giunti in località “La Teza” (percorso vita e area pi-nic) termina anche il sentiero SAT ed in pochi minuti, proseguendo dritti, si potrebbe raggiungere il punto di partenza. Il giro invece prosegue a destra andando, è proprio il caso di dirlo, alla scoperta del tratto dimenticato della strada sopra citata. Attenzione: il tracciato non è segnalato e non è soggetto ad alcun tipo di manutenzione, chi lo percorre lo fa quindi a proprio rischio. Nonostante la vegetazione, le frane e gli smottamenti facciano di tutto per cancellare questa bella opera di ingegneria militare la strada è ancora perfettamente “leggibile”, mentre i terrapieni, i muri a secco e gli scavi nella roccia realizzati all’epoca resistono tenacemente. Raggiunta la frazione di Fontani ritroviamo l’asfalto: da qui l’ultimo sforzo per risalire a Folgaria pedalando sulla SS 350.

Tour & ldquo; brief but intense & rdquo; that grows on the slopes of Mount Cornetto: for expert bikers and lovers of single trek. From Folgaria city center can be reached quickly step following the Supreme SS350; from here you turn left onto the comfortable, but at times steep, forest road that leads to the Paradiso and the shelter / hotel of the same name. Strongly recommend that the deviation of a few tens of meters to reach the nearby church where you can enjoy an amazing view. From the hut, follow the road downhill to the right towards the & rsquo; grassy area below and then take a track (ex local trail n & deg; 5) that slips into the woods. Here the fun begins; with hairpin turns, steps, protruding roots and rocks to put pepper in your path. After about a kilometer you enter on the path SAT 425 that runs along the left side of the wild valley of the throat. Necessary to maintain high l & rsquo; attention and concentration: the track is narrow, the bottom is uneven and there are exposed sections. Going to share the track widens in gaining fluency. Interesting to remember that the path that we are walking faithfully follows the path of a beautiful paved road built by the Austrian army during the First World War as hand using d & rsquo; opera prisoners of war. Once in town & ldquo; Teza & rdquo; (Fitness trail and picnic area pi) also terminates the path SAT and in a few minutes, go straight, you might reach the point of departure. The tour continues to the right instead of going, it's appropriate to say, the discovery of the forgotten stretch of road mentioned above. Please note: the track is not reported and is not subject to any kind of maintenance, who runs it does so at their own risk. Despite the vegetation, landslides and mudslides do everything to erase this beautiful work of military engineering, the road is still perfectly & ldquo; readable & rdquo ;, while the berms, dry stone walls and excavations in the rock made all & rsquo; era stubbornly resist. On reaching the village of Fountains & find the rsquo; asphalt, hence the & rsquo; latest effort to go back to Folgaria pedaling the SS 350 & nbsp;
