My first proper trip on the new mountain bike. From Tegernsee, over the top to Schliersee then up again to Spitzensee. After admiring the views, take the lovely decent to Valepp and then onwards, through the almen to the Erzherzog Jahann Klause for a bite to eat (fantastic schnitzel). Then it's back uphill, with some sections where you need to carry your bike - but even though it's knackering it's rewarding as the prize is a fantastic 15km stretch downhill to Rottach, from where it's only a few more km back to Tegernsee.
