Giro abbastanza lungo e pedalato fino alla sommità del monte Petrano.
Si percorre la vecchia flaminia fino al bivio per Palcano, si prosegue in salita, il primo tratto abbastanza impegnativa, fino all'abitato di Palcano, per poi svoltare a destra seguendo l'indicazione "Borgo", si oltrepassa un gruppetto di case fino ad arrivare alla fine del tratto asfaltato per poi proseguire su strada imbrecciata.
Si continua in salita, mai troppo impegnativa, con fondo scassato e ghiaioso, fino ad arrivare quasi alla sommità del monte, godendo di scorci che valgono la fatica della salita.
Si continua fino ad oltrepassare una sbarra che chiude la strada, si arriva a congiungersi con la strada che sale dalla località "Moria", si prosegue in salita fino all'arrivo in vetta.
Una volta che si otrepassa una torre dell'enel, si imbocca un tratto imbrecciato sulla destra che scende leggermente fino ad arrivare ad alcune case.
Qui bisogna prestare attenzione, appena otrepassata l'ultima casa sulla destra si scorge un sentiero, sempre sulla destra, che prosegue per i prati, lo si segue fino ad un punto che svolta a sinistra, si continua in questa direzione per circa 100mt, fino ad intravedere sulla destra un'apertura tra gli arbusti, questo è l'inizio della discesa.
Il primo tratto è una toboga in mezzo al bosco, con fondo ciottoloso e tornanti, abbstanza impegnativo, finito questo tratto si continua il sentiero, veloce e mai impegnativo, fino ad arrivare ad una strada, la si attraversa e si prosegue sulla destra lasciando i freni fino ad arrivare alla località "i cappuccini", da qui si puo' decidere se fare gli ultimi metri del sentiero o proseguire per un paio di curve su strada asfaltata.
