Die Tour startet in Großmaischeid, führt Anfangs auf der K117 Richtung Kausen, verlässt diese aber sehr bald auf der rechten Seite. Auf trailähnlichen Wegen geht es hinunter ins Sayntal. Diesem folgt man ca. 900m in Richtung Isenburg um anschließend in südlicher Richtung abzubiegen und den Hang nach Caan zu erklimmen. Von Caan führt der Weg durch den Wald und über Teile des Rheinsteigs zur Burg Sayn. In Sayn geht es ins Brexbachtal, vorbei an den Zeltlager-Plätzen immer dem Bachlauf und der Brexbachtalbahn folgendüber Waldwege, Wanderwege und teilweise über kurze, felsige Stücke, wo man gut beraten ist, mal abzusteigen. Auf diesem Weg wird der Brexbach einmal vom Weg gekreuzt. Wer Angst vor nassen Füßen hat, sollte ein Stück eher die Brücke benutzen, die mutigen durchfahren die Furt. Wahlweise in einer Schlaufe oder mit geschultertem Rad den Zick-zack-Weg hinauf geht es dann zur Burgruine Grenzau. Von dort führt uns der Weg die letzten Höhenmeter an Alsbach und Wirscheid vorbei. Über einen schmalen Überwachsenen Singletrail geht es dann zurück ins Sayntal unmittelbar am Ortseingang Kausen. Wir folgen dem Sayntal bis zum Hofgut Adenroth und biegen dann links ab an den Adenrother Weihern vorbei nach Stebach. Umrunden zur Hälfte den Stebacher Landschaftsweiher und radeln dann zurück nach Großmaischeid. Die Wegbeschaffenheit richtet sich immer nach dem Wetter der vorherigen Tage und Wochen. Mit einem durchschnittlichen Mountainbike ist jedoch Mindestanforderung. Eine 100mm Federgabel ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.

The tour starts in Großmaischeid, leads to the beginning of the K117 direction Kausen, leaves this very soon on the right side. On trail similar ways it comes down to Sayntal. Follow it about 900m towards Isenburg to deflect then in a southerly direction and to climb the slope after Caan. From Caan, the trail leads through the forest and over parts of the Rhine walkway to the castle Sayn. In Sayn it goes into Brexbachtal, past the camping-places always the creek and the Brexbachtalbahn following forest paths, hiking trails, and some have short, rocky pieces, where one is well advised to dismount times. In this way, the Brexbach once crossed by the path. Who's afraid of wet feet, a piece should rather use the bridge, the courageous drive through the ford. Alternatively, in a loop or shouldering the wheel zig-zag path up it then goes to the ruins of BTA. From there the trail leads us past the last few meters to Alsbach and Wirscheid. About a narrow About Accreted single trail will take you back to the Sayntal directly at the entrance Kausen. We follow the Sayntal to Hofgut Adenroth and then turn left at the Adenrother ponds over after Stebach. Walk around half the Stebacher landscape pond and then cycle back to Großmaischeid. The Trail Condition always depends on the weather of the previous days and weeks. With an average mountain bike, however, is a minimum requirement. A 100mm suspension fork is also highly recommended.
