Eine schöne Tour entlang der Grenze zwischen Süd- und Osttirol. Startpunkt ist Sexten - kurz auf Asphalt und dann auf Schotter bis zum Helm - Restaurant. Vorbei an der Hahnspielhütte bis zu einem Sattel, von dem aus man einen Abstecher zum (renovierungsbedürftigen) Helmhaus machen sollte. (kurz schieben). Von hier hat man einen beeindruckenden Rundblick - auf der einen Seite die Dolomiten, auf der anderen Seite der Alpenhauptkamm in Österreich. Über die Sillianer Hütte in Osttirol teilweise auf dem karnischen Höhenweg weiter zum Hornischegg und über schöne Trails über die Klammbachhütte zum Kreuzbergpass. Rückweg über die karnische Dolomitenstraße nach Sexten.
