FORO DEGLI OCCHIALONI - FRASASSI -
Con meteo non certo dei migliori, si scelgono mete vicino casa....è proprio in questi luoghi si riscoprono posti incantati e spesso dimenticati!!
Un giretto di pochi metri di dislivello con impiego di forze minime (300 m positivi), ma molto suggestivo paesaggisticamente...occhio che il portage non è banale, in special modo se il fondo è viscido (molta attenzione in avvicinamento al foro e in cresta!)
Da Genga Stazione si parte in direzione del bel paesino arroccato di Pierosara su asfalto e, dopo averlo attraversato, sulla chiesina appena fuori, si prende a sx per la carrareccia che poi diviene sentiero. Percorrere questo per tutta la sua interezza (un solo bivio prima del foro ci condurrebbe in 10 min. alla grotta del Mezzogiorno...da visitare!!!, ma proseguiamo diritti). Gli ultimi 100/150 m di dislivello in portage e poussage.
Si può scendere dentro il Foro degli Occhialoni attraverso il budello di dx (a piedi) per ammirarne la sua maestosità dall'interno (piccola ferrata); poi, risaliti, si può continuare il sentiero principale e salire sopra al Foro attraverso il Sentiero dei Gradoni (ferrata).
Discesa come per la salita; ma ripresa la carrareccia, all'evidente curva dopo il lungo rettilineo, scendere subito a dx su sentiero segnato, divertente e flow fino al parcheggio.

- With weather not sure of the best, you choose destinations close to home .... it is in these places are being rediscovered enchanted places and often forgotten !!
A stroll a few meters in altitude with minimum use of force (300 m positive), but very evocative landscapes ... the eye that portage is not trivial, especially if the bottom is slimy (very careful in approaching the hole and the ridge! )
From Genga Stazione is part of the beautiful village perched in the direction of Pierosara on asphalt and, after crossing, just outside the church, turn left for the track which then becomes the path. Take this for all its entirety (only one hole in the first fork in the road would lead us in 10 min. The cave of the South ... to visit !!!, but continue straight). The last 100-150 m in altitude in portage and poussage.
You can go down into the hole of Goggles right through the gut (on foot) to admire its majesty from the inside (small ferrata); then rose again, you can continue the main trail and climb on top of the hole through the Path of the Steps (ferrata).
Descent as for the climb; but shooting the cart, the obvious corner after the long straight, get off immediately right on a marked trail, fun and flow to the parking lot.
