This track is a 10+km loop in typical Montpellier's area contryside style.Very friendly, easy adult biking skills level required. Narrows, large tracks and roads.Landscape will be much apreciated on dusk with sunset over the garigue hills and valleys, the very nice sight of montpellier's citylights with "old roman era" Murviel town in the foreground and seashore towns lights with mediteranea in background.By daytime, when weather is clear you can point out Pyrenées and Ventou mountains.
Car park at starting point in Pignan easily reachable driving by D27 road.Very hot and dry area in summer. Have enough water four a 1h.Otherwise there are several free water points in Murviel.Don't hesiate to walk by Coulazou cave wich is not far away and grab a couple of local wine bottles in local producers/retailers stores (cave coopérative de cournonteral, or Domaine de Belle Pierre in Murviel).There are also old roman town/castle/temple ruins in Murviel wich can be visited making it worth spending a full day in this quiet, tourists-free area.
