Partendo dal cimitero di Castel S. Pietro, dove si può lasciare l'auto gratuitamente, cominicia la salita passando nel nucleo vecchio di Castel S. Pietro e poi lungo la freschissima strada e pochissimo trafficata del versante destro della valle di Muggio fino a Casima.Da qui comincia uno stupendo single track nel bosco (un bosco che a tratti è una vera piantagione di larici dove nemmeno un raggio di luce passa attraverso le chiome, fantastico!), abbastanza liscio, tutto in salita senza troppa pendenza. L'ultimo pezzo di sentiero tende a impennarsi un po', ma possiede dei fantastici tornanti dove si può sperimentare il proprio equilibrio.Alla fine del sentiero si arriva una fontanella dove si può bere (aperta solo nel periodo caldo)Da qui, la strada torna pianeggiante su asfalto (aperto solo al traffico agricolo) fino al ristorante Peonia. Ultima salitina su sterrato fino alla Bellavista dove si può godere di un panorama stupendo sul lago di Lugano e sulle alpi.Inizia così la discesa, inizialmente molto ripida ma piacevolissima nel bosco e poi si sfocia sulla strada asfaltata che ci porta di nuovo a Castel S. Pietro.Bello!

Starting from the cemetery of Castel S. Pietro, where you can leave your car for free, commenced drawing the climb through the old Castel S. Last salitina on dirt roads to the Bellavista, where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Lugano and the so alpi.Inizia descent, initially very steep but pleasant in the woods and then flows on the asphalt road that leads us back to Castel S .
