Per chi non se la sentisse di fare il giro completo abbiamo previsto una versione "ridotta" ma egualmente interessante e comunque non priva di difficoltà tecniche. Profondità: 1.048 m. Sviluppo spaziale: oltre 8.000 m. L'abisso chiamato Pozzo della Neve si apre in località Costa del Carpine (Campochiaro), con due ingressi non molto distanti uno dall'altro. Per profondità e sviluppo si tratta di uno dei sistemi sotterranei più importanti d'Italia. L'accesso è reso difficoltoso dalla presenza di un sifone quasi perenne a quota -110 m. (Fonte: www.montidelmatese.it)Pozzo della Neve (ingresso basso)Rifugio-Belvedere (Campochiaro)Rifugio e ottimo punto d'osservazione della vallata sottostante.E' il punto più basso del giro: 1065m slmCul di BoveQuota ingresso: 1.360 m s.l.m. Profondità: 913 m. Sviluppo spaziale: 3.900 m. L'abisso si apre in località Piscina Cul di Bove, poco sopra il piano stradale, 500 m prima dell'ingresso alto di Pozzo della Neve. A differenza di quest'ultimo, Cul di Bove è un sistema attivo e accessibile tutto l'anno, ma pericoloso in caso di forti piogge. Tecnicamente la grotta risulta decisamente più impegnativa e selettiva. Dopo una serie di strettoie iniziali, gli ambienti sono sempre molto ampi e di grande bellezza morfologica. Nonostante la vicinanza, non sono stati ancora trovati collegamenti percorribili tra i due sistemi, né la cosa sembra facilmente realizzabile: le esplorazioni comunque sono tuttora in corso in più settori.(Fonte: www.montidelmatese.it) Baita La GallinolaPresso la "Baita La Gallinola" (che prende il nome proprio della montagna che la sovrasta), è possibile degustare uno piatto veramente speciale: "Taccozze e Orapi". Gli Orapi sono una tipica verdura di montagna, molto simile agli spinaci che cresce solo a questa altitudine e viene raccolta nei mesi di maggio e giugno appena la neve si è sciolta.Nella cucina del rifugio, vengono utilizzati solo prodotti tipici molisani: pecorino, caciocavallo, scamorze, prosciutto rigorosamente affettato a mano, il buonissimo capicollo e la salsiccia.La pasta e fagioli, le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini e tutte le altre prelibatezze, vengono preparate in modo casereccio, seguendo scrupolosamente le antiche ricette della nonna; inoltre, tutti gli arrosti vengono cotti sulla brace di legno di faggio che ne esalta il gusto.Il locale è aperto al pubblico tutti i giorni da giugno ad agosto e da dicembre ad aprile; nel resto dell'anno, apre durante tutte le festività o su prenotazione.La Baita è raggiungibile seguendo la strada provinciale che collega Campitello Matese a Bocca della Selva.Info: Carlo 339-1054315 Massimo 3384342876 Gino 333-1830967 Satellitare 310-5202106 (Fonti: www.campitelloextremeteam.com; www.montidelmatese.com)Photos: See all pictures and videos from Giro d'Autunno sul Matese (ridotto)
