Wir starten die Tour von Kastelbell, wo wir im Ortszentrum nach St. Martin im Kofel abbiegen. Steil bergauf führt uns die asphaltierte Straße vorbei an Kastanienhainen bis zum Hof Köstenplon. Von hier an wird die Straße flacher und führt vorbei an den Höfen von Trumsberg. Man genießt bereits ab einer Meereshöhe von 1000 m einen traumhaften Panoramablick bis zur Texelgruppe bei Meran und in das gegenüberliegende Martelltal. Dieses Panorama lässt sich aber noch übertreffen, wenn man auf der Terrasse des Platztaihof sitzt, und die Gletscherregion des Martelltals vor sich sieht. Um zurück zu gelangen stehen Ihnen mehrere Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung: wir entscheiden uns für eine technisch anspruchsvolle Variante, die das das Bikerherz höher schlangen lässt. ("Monte Sole Trail" und "Tschilli Trail". Erst führt der Trail über sehr verblocktes Gelände, später über flowige Wiesentrails bei den Anneberger Böden und am Ende wieder steil bergab. Wir queren eine Hängebrücke und weiter geht es nach unten. Am Ende haben wir uns das Eis in Latsch verdient.
