Adventure Road (Rio Sa Ceraxa e dintorni). Oggi approfittando di un giorno di ferie (e di sole) ho pensato di percorrere uno dei più interessanti giri in MTB da fare nei dintorni di Cagliari. Inoltre, non avendo trovato la traccia nei soliti siti, ho pensato di registrarla con il mio GPS (la trovate linkata in basso a destra). Lasciata la macchina alla casermetta dell forestale di Campu Omu (Foresta Sette Fratelli ) sono entrato nella sterrata che inizia a sinistra dopo la caserma e da li arrivato al bivio sulla sinistra con il cartello "Su Conventu" ho iniziato la salita che mi ha portato vicino alle cime dei Sette Fratelli (seguite sempre l'indicazione Baccu Malu) da qui all'incrocio, dopo la sbarra arrugginita, con la stradina per Castiadas ho girato a destra iniziando una lunghissima discesa che mi ha portato (svoltando in una evidente strada a sinistra e poi nella seconda a destra all'altezza di Arcu de Buddui) fino a Dispensa vecchia in uno spettacolare alternarsi di sottobosco e guadi. Qui si gira a destra sulla strada asfaltata, si guada il Rio Ceraxa e inizia un bella salita sempre asfaltata a tornanti che porta fino ad Arcu Sa Ruinedda. Da qui all'incrocio si prende a destra in direzione Campu Omu si arriva all'altezza dell'agriturismo si gira nella seconda a destra e saliti per poche centinaia di metri ed arrivati all'altezza Arcu Sa Spina si prende il sentiero sulla destra della tagliafuoco (riconoscibile dal cartello in legno a forma di freccia e da li si scende fino a vivaio dell Forestale, si percorre a scendere la larga sterrata e si ritorna alle macchine parcheggiate di fronte alla Casermetta. Sono meno di trenta km con 1200 m di dislivello che si possono fare in circa tre ore. Solo in qualche punto le piogge hanno lavato le rocce consigliando prudenza e costringendo a procedere con molta attenzione o meglio ancora a piedi.Photos: See all pictures and videos from Adventure Road (Rio Sa Ceraxa e dintorni)
Road Adventure (Rio Sa Ceraxa and vicinity). Today, he is taking advantage of a day off (and the sun) I decided to take one of the most interesting tours in MTB to do in the surrounding area of ??Cagliari. Also, not having found the track in the usual sites, I decided to record it with my GPS (found linked at the bottom right). Leaving the car at the barracks of Forestry Campu Omu (Forest Seven Brothers) I entered the dirt road that begins to the left after the barracks and got them to the junction on the left with the sign "On Conventu" I started the climb that brought me close the peaks of the Seven Brothers (always follow the sign Baccu Malu) from here at the intersection after the rusty rail, with the road to Castiadas I turned to the right beginning a long descent that led me (turning into a clear road to the left and then the second right at Arcu de Buddui) up to old Dispensation in a spectacular alternation of undergrowth and fords. Here you turn right onto the paved road, ford the Rio Ceraxa and begins a beautiful always paved uphill switchbacks leading up to Arcu Sa Ruinedda. Hence the intersection turn right towards Campu Omu you arrive at the farm he runs in the second on the right and climbed a few hundred meters and arrived at Arcu Sa Spina take the path on the right of the fire (recognizable by the wooden sign in arrow shape and from there it goes down to the nursery of the Forest, drive down the wide dirt road and return to the cars parked in front of the Barracks. they are less than thirty km and 1200 m of elevation change you can do in about three hours.
