It was another lovely morning so I set off on my bike for another ride. Longer than the last time, I managed to cross the level crossing at Hampden Park, which is closed to all traffic at the moment, by using the footbridge and headed for the Cuckoo Trail again, this time I headed around Shinewater and Hydneye Lakes to cross Willingdon Drove and then onto Sevenoaks Road to Langney Rise. From the roundabout I rode along Princes Road to Ramsay Way and Prince William Drive to enter Eastbourne Marina. A quick walk around the inner harbour and back across the lock gates to Prince William Drive and join the cycle path on the promenade to Beach Road. I then turned back to Princes Park and Wartling Road ,Vine Square,Myrtle Road and onto Seaside heading home again along Lottbridge Drove to the cycle path along Cross Levels Way and into Hampden Park again via Sainsbury's. A good ride mostly along level ground and a lot of it away from traffic.
