Anspruchsvolle Tour rund um den Walchensee. Los gehts am grossen Parkplatz in Kochel am See, aufwärts Richtung Jochberg. Angenehme Auffahrt, kurz nach dem Scheitelpunkt erreichen wir die (nicht bewirtschaftete) Kotalm. Abfahrt entweder auf der Forststrasse oder dem Trail, der allerdings nicht in bestem Zustand ist. Am Ende der Abfahrt Abzweig an der Brücke, hier eine optionale Ehrenrunde Richtung Jachenau, der schöne Weg hier ist für Radfahrer verboten, ich bin ihn unter der Woche gefahren, wenn viele Wanderer unterwegs sind, vielleicht lieber auslassen... Dann noch kurz bergauf und auf Teer hinab zum Walchensee. Diesem folgen wir einige km, bis ein Forstweg abzweigt, den wir bis zur (nicht bewirtschafteten) Hochkopfhütte folgen. Von hier ein schicker Trail (S1) zurück zum Walchensee, Forstweg ist alternativ auch möglich. Weiter am See entlang bis Urfeld, ab hier Richtung Herzogstand noch einmal eine erbarmungslos steile Rampe. Alles fahrbar, aber als letzter Anstieg des Tages nicht ohne. Für die Abfahrt ist jetzt noch einmal volle Konzentration gefordert. Hinunter geht es den Pionierweg Richtung Kochelsee. Immer eng am Hang entlang, teilweise enge und steile Spitzkehren, kurze Gegensteigungen, gute Fahrtechnik ist hier Pflicht (S2-S3) Der Pfad mündet schlussendlich in einen Forstweg, und wir rollen am Kochelsee entlang zum Startpunkt. Stark von Wanderern frequentiertes Gebiet, bitte freundlich und rücksichtsvoll verhalten. Gute Kondition, Fahrtechnik und passables Material können nicht schaden.

Demanding tour around Walchensee. Performances begin on big parking in Kochel am See, upward direction Jochberg. Pleasant driveway, just after the vertex we reach the (unmanaged) Kotalm. Departure either on the forest road or trail that is not however in the best condition. At the end of the exit junction at the bridge, here an optional lap of honor towards Jachenau, the beautiful way here is forbidden for cyclists, I drove it during the week, when many hikers are on might prefer to skip ... Then briefly uphill and on tar down to Walchensee. We follow a few km to a forest branches, which we follow to (unmanaged) high head hut. From here one chic Trail (S1) and nbsp; back to Walchensee, forest is alternatively also possible. Continue along the lake to Urfeld, from here towards Herzogstandbahn once a mercilessly steep & nbsp; ramp. Everything mobile, but the last climb of the day, not without. Full concentration once called & nbsp;, now is for the exit yet. & Nbsp Down it goes the direction Pionierweg Lake Kochel. Always closely along the slope, partly narrow and steep switchbacks, short ascents, good driving skills is a must here & nbsp; (S2-S3) The path opens out finally in a forest, and we roll on Lake Kochel along to the starting point. Heavily frequented by hikers area, please behave friendly and considerate. Good condition, technique and passable material can not hurt.
