Itinerario molto panoramico, ma anche molto impegnativo, sia per la lunga salita con tratti ripidi, sia per il sentiero in discesa, tecnico ripido e difficile. Consigliato ad esperti. Inoltre l'itinerario non è consigliato nei mesi più caldi, visto che sul montesole fa sempre molto caldo, eventualmente si consiglia di salire di mattina molto presto. La salita è asfaltata e l'itinerario è percorribile anche d'inverno, se si ha dimestichezza con i sentieri innevati (anche se la maggior parte delle volte la neve sul sentiero si scioglie molto in fretta). Alla fine si percorre un bel sentiero in piano fino ad un punto panoramico, attenzione il sentiero è in parte esposto e molto stretto e alla fine una ultima discesa impegnativa ma divertente conduce a valle. Al maso Schnatz ristoro. Uno dei sentieri più divertenti nei dintorni di Naturno. Meglio non affrontare il percorso la domenica per la presenza di numerosi escursionisti
