Aggiornamento: 10/2010Descrizione.Partiamo dal centro storico di Finalborgo ed usciamo da Porta Testa raggiungendo la strada che sale all´autostrada. Qui svoltiamo a sinistra. Dopo un centinaio di metri troviamo a destra una sterrata che sale, chiusa da una catena (km 0,4; segnavia FIE ).Svoltiamo e saliamo senza difficoltà raggiungendo una chiesetta. La salita si fa più difficile a causa del fondo dissestato. Superiamo due tornanti e raggiungiamo il termine della strada (km 1,9).A piedi saliamo alcuni metri per raggiungere la strada di cava al di sopra. Proseguiamo a destra sulla strada che continua a salire.Incontriamo e trascuriamo un altro cancello della cava ed arriviamo alla sommità (km 2,8) della salita. A destra seguiamo il sentiero che si inoltra sull'altopiano.Ad un bivio (km 2,9) proseguiamo diritti trascurando il segnavia che va a destra.Ritrovato il segnavia proseguiamo in leggera salita. Incontriamo un altro bivio (km 3,4) dove scendiamo a sinistra seguendo il segnavia.Percorriamo un tratto con qualche gradino di roccia, prima in discesa poi in salita e con qualche saliscendi Dopo la confluenza col sentiero che avevamo lasciato al bivio il percorso va in discesa fino a raggiungere il sentiero che proviene da Borgio (FIE ; km 4).Svoltiamo a destra. Il sentiero sale leggermente ad un dosso (a destra un sentierino porta ad un incantevole angolo tipicamente finalese) e poi scende al margine di un ampio prato (km 4,2) caratterizzato da una bella dolina.Non seguiamo la mulattiera selciata che sale sulla sinistra (parzialmente non ciclabile), ma andiamo a destra, attraversiamo il prato ed incontriamo un sentiero (segnavia FIE; km 4,4) che seguiamo a sinistra. Al termine della salita usciamo sul sagrato delle chiese di S. Martino (ristorante; km 4,5).Attraversiamo il cortile tra le due chiese e giriamo a sinistra dietro all'abside. Seguendo i segnavia seguiamo la traccia in salita, all'inizio non ciclabile.La mulattiera raggiunge la grande croce della apparizioni mariane (km 4,7).Scendiamo sull'ottimo sentiero arrivando ad un incrocio dove svoltiamo a destra col segnavia (FIE e ).Il sentiero rimane buono, ma presenta qualche salita accidentata. Quando il sentiero si allarga per diventare una strada trascuriamo un sentiero a destra e saliamo, con un ripido strappo iniziale, ai ripetitori (km 5,3).Proseguiamo sulla strada che scende e raggiunge la selletta che precede la Torre di Bastia (km 5,8).Dopo cinquanta metri lasciamo a destra il sentiero dell'itinerario 20 e seguiamo la sterrata.Dopo una lieve salita la strada scende fino a raggiungere l'asfalto (km 6,5). Svoltiamo a destra (segnavia piuttosto saltuario) e, dopo cento metri, imbocchiamo una sterrata a sinistra.Trascuriamo alcune strade laterali e restiamo sulla principale, che non perde quota, fino ad un bivio (km 6,8) dove andiamo diritti su una stradina minore.Corriamo tra gli ulivi fino al termine della strada. Il percorso diventa una mulattiera sassosa che scende tra muri a secco. Il fondo gradatamente peggiora ed è un po' disturbato da qualche cespuglio.Superiamo qualche passo difficile e scendiamo al bivio (km 7,7) per Roccaro. Andiamo diritti sul sentiero che resta impegnativo anche se con difficoltà minori.La mulattiera si allarga a strada agricola che diventa asfaltata e termina ad un incrocio (km 8,2).Proseguiamo diritti, passiamo presso alcune nuove case ed entriamo nel borgo antico di Borgio. All'altezza dell'abside della chiesa (km 8,6) svoltiamo a sinistra entrando tra i vicoli che percorriamo a bassa velocità.Raggiungiamo la chiesa e scendiamo ancora fino ad uscire dal borgo sull'asfalto (km 8,8).Andiamo a destra e seguiamo la strada. Costeggiamo il torrente che costituisce il confine con Pietra Ligure fino a raggiungere la zona centrale della città nuova (km 9,6). Dislivello: 350 m. Ciclabilità: 98% Asfalto: 13% Osservazioni:Variante 35.1:Immediatamente prima di uscire sul sagrato della chiesa di San Martino, al termine della salita, andiamo diritti e scendiamo sulla bella strada lastricata.Attraversiamo le case di Verezzi e, prima di entrare nel parcheggio, svoltiamo a sinistra (km 0,5) imboccando una mulattiera.Attraversiamo la strada asfaltata (km 0,7) e scendiamo alla piazza della frazione Piazza (km 0,9).Svoltiamo a detra nella strada che attraversa un portico e raggiungiamo frazione Roccaro (km 1). All'uscita dalle case prendiamo la mulattiera a destra (anche quella a sinistra va a Borgio).La mulattiera (via di rian) presenta qualche passo dissestato e scende ad attraversare il rio (km 1,5). Dopo una breve salita scendiamo tra i cespugli e raggiungiamo l'itinerario principale (km 1,8). Novembre 2010. Molto interessanti i borghi attraversati.
Updated: 10 / 2010Descrizione.Partiamo from the historic center of Finalborgo and we go from Porta Head reaching the road to the highway salt. Here we turn left. After a hundred meters we find on the right a dirt road that climbs, closed by a chain (km 0,4; trail sign FIE) .Svoltiamo and climb without difficulty reaching a church. The climb becomes more difficult due to the rough surface. We pass two bends and reach the end of the road (km 1.9) .A foot we climb a few meters to reach the quarry road above. We go right on the road that continues to salire.Incontriamo and neglect another gate of the quarry and we arrive at the summit (2.8 km) of the climb. On the right we follow the path that goes sull'altopiano.Ad a fork (km 2.9) continue straight ignoring the trail that goes to destra.Ritrovato the trail we continue slightly uphill. We meet another fork (km 3,4) where we go down to the left following the segnavia.Percorriamo a stretch with some steps of rock, first uphill and then downhill with a few ups and downs After the confluence with the path we had left at the fork the path goes downhill until you reach the path that comes from Borgio (FIE; 4 km) .Svoltiamo right. The trail climbs gently to a ridge (on the right, a narrow path leads to a lovely corner in typical Finale) and then descends to the edge of a large lawn (4.2 km) characterized by a beautiful dolina.Non we follow the paved trail that climbs to the left (partially cycle), but go to the right, cross the meadow and meet a path (trail sign FIE; km 4,4) that we follow to the left. At the end of the climb we go out on the church of St. Martin (restaurant; 4.5 km) .Attraversiamo the courtyard between the two churches and turn left behind the apse. By following the trail we follow the track uphill, beginning not ciclabile.La trail reaches the large cross of the Marian apparitions (4.7 km) .Scendiamo on the excellent path coming to a crossroads where we turn right with the trail (and FIE) .the path remains good, but has some rough climb. When the path widens to become a neglect road a path to the right and climb with a steep initial tear, repeater (5.3 km) .Proseguiamo on the road that descends and reaches the saddle before the Tower of Bastia (km 5 8) .After fifty meters we leave to the right the itinerary 20 and we follow the path sterrata.Dopo a slightly uphill road descends to the asphalt (km 6.5). Turn right (signpost rather intermittent) and, after a hundred meters, take a dirt road to sinistra.Trascuriamo some side streets and we remain on the main, which does not lose share, up to a fork (km 6,8) where we go straight on a little road minore.Corriamo among the olive trees until the end of the road. The path becomes a stony path that descends between stone walls. The fund gradually worsens and is a bit 'disturbed by some cespuglio.Superiamo some difficult step and go down at the fork (7.7 km) to Roccaro.
