Oestrich-Schloss Vollrads-Hallgarten-Kloster Eberbach-Hattenheim-Oestrich.This trip starts in Ingelheim (state of Rheinland-Pfalz) and mainly takes place in Rheingau area (state of Hessen).
One may start the trip from the other side of the river Rhine by using the ferry boat "Michael" between Ingelheim and Oestrich.The bike tour was performed clock-wise. For this it is best to reach Kloster Eberbach from the top of the forest Taunus: A direct trail between Hallgarten and Kloster Eberbach does not exist.One may take a break at the "Klosterschaenke" in the beautiful area of Kloster Eberbach offering food and beverages typical of Germany.
