DescriptionAn beginner/intermediate ride - technically easy but with climbing. We begin at the Hauptbanhof to take the BOB out to Schaftlach where we head off first for a rather flat first 15 kms to Tegernsee to our first stop. Then easy to medium slope up to the Aueralm with one steep section in 7-10 kms. Exploring the ridges and there is an escape point possible 27th km back to down to the lake. Otherwise continue with a 3 kms climb on to Gluckkopf and to Mareinstein, where one head down back to Schaftlach. Climbing is wide firepaths wit loose gravel, no skinny tires.
