Una fantastica serie di salite e discese mozzafiato intorno ai forti di Genova. Grazie alla guida d'eccezzione abbiamo seguito sentieri noti solo ai biker locali, ben differenti dalle tracce che si trovano in rete!Si fa base a Staglieno, comoda per i posteggi e si sale verso il forte Begato, Puin, Sperone e Diamante (che abbiamo evitato per i terribili 16 tornanti in salita). Da qui parte un primo bellissimo single track esposto all'inizio, che porta fino al monte Bastia. Al monte inizia un'altra sessione adrenalinica, un bellissimo track freeride che porta all'acquedotto Romano. Lungo l'acquedotto (divertentissimo) si ritorna a Staglieno. Il giro potrebbe terminare qui, ma una seconda salita fino alle cave sotto il forte Ratti vale la pena per la bellissima discesa, che porta poi nuovamente a Staglieno. Un giro che rimane nelle gambe e negli occhi a lungo, garantito!

A fantastic series of climbs and breathtaking descents around strong Genoa. Thanks to the exception of guide we followed paths only known to the local biker, very different from the tracks that are on the net! It is based in Staglieno, convenient for parking and climb to the fort Begato, Puin, Sperone and Diamond (which we have avoided the terrible 16 switchbacks uphill). From here a beautiful single track first exposed at the beginning, leading to Mount Bastia. The mountain adrenaline starts another session, a beautiful freeride track leading Roman aqueduct. Along the aqueduct (fun) returns to Staglieno. The tour may end here, but a second climb to the cave under the strong Ratti worth it for the beautiful descent, which then leads back to Staglieno. A ride that remains in the legs and eyes long, guaranteed!
