Alster – von der Quelle bis zur Mündung Beschreibung Die eigentlich Tour beginnt in Norderstedt an der dortigen U-Bahn und führt zunächst in Richtung Stadtpark Norderstedt. Erstes Etappenziel ist die Alsterquelle bei Rhen. Danach führt die Tour nicht gleich an der Alster entlang, da der obere Bereich der Alster nicht „befahrbar“ ist. Erst nach etwa 15km stößt man in Höhe Rethfurt auf die Alster. Bis dahin ist die Tour etwas wenig abwechslungsreich – ja fast langweilig. Ab Rethfurt wird man aber entschädigt! Ich bin dem Alsterlauf soweit möglich exakt gefolgt. Oberfläche Durchgängig gut fahrbar. Anfangs fast ausschließlich gefestigte Wege. Ab Rethfurt wechselt es dann auf vorwiegend Wanderwege die bei Nässe durchaus auch matschig werden können. Ab Hamburg-Innenstadt dann natürlich wieder befestigte Wege bis zur Mündung der Alster in die Elbe. Verpflegung In Norderstedt solltet ihr euch nochmal eindecken – danach kommt nämlich lange Zeit nix. Ab etwa Duvenstedt wird es dann deutlich besser und ihr findet auch Biergärten, Restaurant etc. Müßig zu erwähnen dass es in Hamburg natürlich alles gibt. Fazit Wie gesagt – anfangs etwas langweilig. Sobald die Route aber auf die Alster stößt wird es wirklich schön.
