Questo è un progetto ideato dal Gruppo Trasporti e Mobilità sostenibile del Movimento 5 Stelle di Lecco, per realizzare una pista ciclabile ad anello, tra i paesi di Mandello del Lario ed Oliveto Lario passando da Lecco, ed usufruendo del battello per ritornare a Mandello. Alcune parti di tale percorso sono gia state realizzate (Lecco-Malgrate), altre sono in fase di realizzazione (Abbadia-Lecco), alcune potrebbero utilizzare parti esistenti pedonali che andrebbero adattate del "Sentiero del viandante" (Mandello-Abbadia), altre invece andrebbero realizzate ex-novo (Valmadrera-Onno) anche se potrebbero usufruire di tratti gia realizzati per il traffico auto ma non più utilizzati
Attualmente tale percorso di poco più di 20KM è percorribile in Bici, ma ad oggi, obbliga il ciclista a transitare per circa 4km sulla superstrada 36 a 2 corsie per senso di marcia da Abbadia a Lecco (Orsa Maggiore) con grosso rischio a causa dell'alta velocità delle auto e dell'assenza di spazio dedicato alle biciclette.Inoltre dopo aver raggiunto Malgrate ed essersi reimmessi sulla viabilità ordinaria, è obbligatorio usufruire delle 2 nuove gallerie di Valmadrera, particolarmente rischiose e buie a causa delle auto fino a 70km/h e dell'unica corsia destinata a tutti i tipi di veicoli
This is a project created by the Transport and Sustainable Mobility Group of the Movement 5 Star Lecco, to set up a ring cycle path, between the countries of Mandello del Lario Oliveto Lario and going from Lecco, and enjoying the boat back in Mandello. Some parts of this path have already been made (Lecco-Malgrate), others are under construction (Abbadia-Lecco), some may use pedestrian existing parts that should be adapted in the "Path of the wayfarer" (Abbadia-Mandello), others should be made from scratch (Valmadrera-Onno) although they could take advantage of features already implemented for car traffic, but no longer used
Currently this path of just over 20KM is traveled by bike, but to date, forcing the cyclist to transit for about 4km on the freeway 36 to 2 lanes in each direction from Abbadia in Lecco (Ursa Major) with great risk due to the high speed of the cars and the lack of space devoted to biciclette.Inoltre after reaching Malgrate and have placed back on ordinary roads, it is mandatory to use the two new galleries of Valmadrera, particularly risky and dark because of the car up to 70km / h and the only lane intended for all types of vehicles
