Trail Description

You can leave your car in the vicinity of the dam of valvestino in a large open space on the street (exactly in front of the wall of the dam) and you begin to drive along the lake for its entire length up to Molino di Bollone. Keep right, following the signs to Magasa and Top Rest. Just before the centre of Magasa turns to a hairpin bend to the right and follow the signs to cima rest and after a hundred metres, on the left there is the first fountain where you can fill the backpack with water. At the next junction, turn left, leaving the directions for the cima rest and to turn instead to Denai – Tombea.
From here the gradient begins to tighten by proceeding to the many hairpin bends. At the next junction, go right, following the signs for tombea (straight one goes to the vott , the bridge collapsed here, the fund becomes cemented. After a couple of ramps to 20 percent the dirt road begins in the vicinity of a junction where you continue left on the path 67. It is a beautiful gippabile from the bottom and at times very disconnected that takes us through breathtaking scenery up to the mouth Cablone where it is easy to meet other bikers rose from the lake of idro. Continue to the right up the hill (now less harsh) until you find on the right side, the malga tombea (the only one). Exactly opposite to the hut on our left, the trail starts in fifteen minutes with a bike to push, there potrerà on the Cima tombea.

Here there is a building known as “the rose of the winds”) with an indication of all the peaks you can see looking at the horizon of 360°; in a clear day is an awesome sight (Adamello, Garda Lake, the monte rosa Group, Baremone etc).

Finally after a 24km climb, you begin to descend. Back at the malga tombea, turn left and shortly after you reach a junction: straight goes to the tremalzo, right down towards the top rest. You go to the right and shortly after you must be very CAREFUL as you find yourself in a large open space, grassy and lose track of the trail. Turning the look to the right, you will see a fence mesh green, you can reach the mythical path n66, which will take us up to the top of rest. This is the first single of the descent is pretty technical especially the first part, but if you leave out a step or two is completely feasible in the saddle.
There are some tight bends, scattered stones for the track, steps, roots, everything you need to have fun, that's it. After a long stretch in the undergrowth, you reach, in the vicinity of a fork in the road, the hut alvezza. Go straight on, downhill, the track widens and becomes again a gippabile (sometimes cobbled-cemented) until you reach the asphalt. We turn to the left, and a few tens of metres away, in the proximity of the curve to the cha to the right reaches the barns of cima rest, we go left onto the dirt road (no.68) who soon will become the second single (second fountain).
This is a single and very fun and fast, almost all in clay, with lots of curves in support (it looks like a track by bob brown). Reached again on the asphalt, turn left and shortly after we find ourselves in the remote village of Cadria. At the first fork in the road (another fountain), turn left following the signs for the nature trail and at the second junction go right (n52) following the signs for mouth paolone (dx, n68 it goes towards malga puria).
Here begins the third single; rather technical in the first part, down in the woods until you meet the stream Droanello that we will have to wade to EIGHT times. All the fords are feasible in the saddle except for the sixth (if not with considerable talents trial).
After the last ford reaches an ancient boundary stone, and here, unfortunately, gets up in the saddle, and after more than 1500 meters of altitude in the legs starts to rise, with short sections of rest in the drop-down. Finally we reach a fork in the road, and here ends also the slope and the third a single. Straight uphill (n52), you should be at the step of a dove, and a mouth paolone, we instead go to the right (n51) in descent along the stream droanello on the dirt road until you reach the lake of valvestino, and the paved road
We go left along once again to the lake and in a short time, we find ourselves at the starting point.
