Dopo 5-6 km si supera l'abitatoe ci si immette sulla strada che porta a Castellaro, ma dopo 400 m circa si sale a destra verso il primo pastore. Dopo il secondo pastore inizia lo sterrato che termina al G.P.M. Da si continua a salire per singletrack prima e sterrata poi fino alla prima spia del gasdotto. Da lassù inizia la discesa.ROADBOOK : La partenza di questo giro comincia dal quadrivio di Arma di Taggia(WP001) , si raggiunge Riva Ligure e al semaforo svoltare a sinistra(WP002) (Km 2,230), per la strada che conduce a Pompeiana. Superare il paese(WP003) e nei pressi della chiesa sulla destra della strada, all'interno di un antro, si trova una fontana(WP004)(Km 5,260). Seguire la strada che prosegue oltre fino a giungere sulle prime rampe. Inizia da qui il "calvario" della salita ai pastori. Al Km 6,300 svoltare a destra per la strada che sale ripida, strada panoramica Pompeiana-Lingueglietta(WP005). Seguire i tornanti fino a giungere al primo pastore(WP006). Superata l'ultima rampetta dell chiesetta, la strada procede in falsopiano, fino al secondo pastore(WP007). Superata la piccola fattoria, la strada diviene sterrata e sempre con un certa pendenza porta al Gran Premio della Montagna dell'escursione(Km 10,520), ben individuabile per la presenza di un grosso pino marittimo(WP008). Appena prima che la sterrata inizi a scendere, sulla sinistra arrampicarsi per il sentierino(WP009), che porta in breve su di una sterrata(WP010). Seguire la sterrata che sale verso sinistra fino a raggiungere una spia del gasdotto(WP011)(Km 11,590), cintata da rete metallica. A destra della spia, dietro delle roccette, inizia il trail del gasdotto, che dopo un primo divertente tratto, si innesta su di una strada asfaltata(WP012). Attraversare la strada e riammettersi sul sentiero del gasdotto di fronte.Percorso un altro breve tratto di sentiero, appena ci si immette su di una sterrata, svoltare a destra(WP013), abbandonando la sterrata che andrebbe verso mare.Seguire la sterrata di destra a al primo bivio, svoltare secco a sinistra in discesa(WP014). Giunti su strada asfaltata tra gli ulivi, svoltare a destra(WP015) e raggiungere il paese di Lingueglietta(WP016)(Km 15,630). Salire verso destra e giunti al cimitero(WP017), è possibile rifornirsi di acqua.Superato il cimitero, seguire la strada asfaltata che sale fino ad un gruppo di villette(WP018) e in corrispondenza di un ampio trivio, di fronte seguire il sentierino che sale verso la pineta.Superata la pineta inizia il sentiero "della pozza dell'asino" (WP019)(Km 17). Dapprima in piano, individuare dopo 100 metri c.a, una tratta di sentiero che sale a destra verso un gruppetto di pini(WP020).Da li parte il sentiero che dirigendosi verso ponente, piano piano riporta verso Terzorio e Pompeiana.Per evitare errori, non considerare i bivi scendono ripidi verso sinistra, ma cercare di mantenere la traccia più battuta e che solitamente procede in falsopiano. Giunti nei pressi di uno fossato, scendere dalla bici e superato il buco, procedere sul sentiero di fronte, seguendo, sempre più o meno in piano, la traccia più battuta, che porta nei pressi di alcuni ruderi abbandonati e diventa qui più larga e comincia contemporaneamente a scendere. Ci si ritrova su di una cementata(WP021) che scende ripida e molto dissestata. Attenzione nei pressi di una vasca d'irrigazione tenersi sulla cementata che svolta a destra e subito dopo, girare, nei pressi di una cappellata con madonnina, a destra ancora(WP023) (Km 20,540), in un sentiero di campagna che sale dolcemente. In corrispondenza del primo bivio più evidente(WP024) (Km 21,180), scendere bruscamente, con molta attenzione per il sentiero sulla sinistra che entra subito nel bosco. Senza problemi di errore, seguire sempre la traccia più marcata e arrivati al fondo di un rivasso(WP025), sempre asciutto, tenere la sinistra sempre percorrendo la traccia più battuta. Giungere su una parte di sentiero piuttosto dissestata, a pietre e scalini, che conduce sulla strada asfaltata(WP027) che collega Terzorio a Pompeiana.Seguire a destra (Km 21,790) a salire la strada fino a Pompeiana, ma prima di entrare in paese, subito dopo un parcheggio sul lato sinistro della strada, parte una mulattiera a scalini( freccia rossa sulla pietra(WP028) (Km 22,930), che conduce nell'abitato di Pompeiana, sulla strada fatta a salire. Seguire la provinciale, riportandosi sull'aurelia e al semaforo svoltare a destra(WP030) in direzione di Arma di Taggia e Sanremo.
