Die heutige Tour sollte eigentlich doppelt so lang werden, aber da es den ganzen Tag regnete und auch die Temperaturen nur einstellig waren (und das Ende Juli!), entschieden wir uns abzukürzen und direkt nach Castelluccio zu fahren. Bei gutem Wetter kann man die Hügelkette um das Pian Grande herum fahren und 30km und 400Hm zusätzlich machen. Von Visso aus führte uns eine Schotterstraße über Serpentinen nach oben. Dann Achtung, bei Kilometer 13,7 biegt der Track von der Forststraße nach rechts auf den Wiesenweg ab. Zuerst geht der Weg flach dahin, aber bald wird es immer steiler, so dass schieben angesagt ist. Zum Schluss auf einem Wanderweg immer weiter nach oben. Noch ein kleiner Hinweis, keine Angst vor den frei laufenden Hütehunden, sie bellen zwar jeden Fremden an, aber normalerweise geht von ihnen keine Gefahr aus. Während der Abfahrt tachte dann plötzlich das Pian Grande und Castelluccio aus den Wolken auf. Was für ein fantastischer Anblick!
