Trail Description



Escursione al confine tra l’Appennino Perduto ed il Parco dei Sibillini. Da Uscerno si risale la Valle del Fluvione passando dalle piccole frazioni di Bisignano, Corbara, Fonditore , Migliarelli ed infine Rigo da dove si imbocca una carrareccia che porta a Colle Galluccio. Giunti all’omonimo valico svoltiamo a sx e percorriamo interamente la carrabile che aggira il Colle Malatesta e finisce a Pian Pecorelle. Entrando nel bosco e puntando il Monte Ceresa si scorge subito una traccia che sale ripida per quasi duecento metri da affrontare tutta in portage. Giunti quasi in prossimità della linea di cresta la segnaletica C.A.I. si divide per poi ricongiungersi più in alto. Proseguendo diritti si guadagna subito la cresta, anche se su sentiero più ostico e con le segnalazioni che scompaiono. Tenendosi invece sul più marcato sentiero di sx ci si porta più facilmente in prossimità della vetta del Monte Ceresa, raggiungibile tramite un piccolo sentiero da fare andata/ritorno. La traccia continua percorrendo prevalentemente il bellissimo crinale che si affaccia a sx sul massiccio del Vettore e la Valle del Fluvione mentre a dx si può godere del gran panorama sul Fosso di Novele. Seguendo le segnalazioni C.A.I. si bypassano il Moterone ed il Pizzo Cerqueto giungendo infine sul Monte Pianamonte. A quota 1200m circa sulla sx si intarprende la discesa sul selvaggio sentiero 402 che inizia dapprima a serpeggiare sulla Costa della Rota poi si innesta su una suggestiva pista di roccia arenaria che porta nel “paradiso del Boulder” ossia l’abitato di Meschia. Il sentiero scende ancora verso Uscerno tra giganteschi blocchi di pietra e castagni secolari per gettarsi infine in uno dei tanti fossati scavati dai piccoli affluenti del Fluvione. Itinerario fuori dai “classici” dell’Appennino Perduto che và ben aldilà dei tecnicismi dei noti trails di Agore, Cocoscia e Piandelloro. Sentieri mai esasperati si snodano in luoghi dimenticati ma che sono capaci di trasmettere emozioni se soltanto ci si ferma a contemplare il paesaggio.

Tour Lost on the border between the Apennines and the Sibillini National Park. From Uscerno go up the valley Fluvione passing by small fractions of Bisignano, Corby, Caster, and finally Migliarelli Line from where you take a track leading to Colle Galluccio. When you reach the eponymous mountain pass turn left and walk along the road that completely bypasses the Colle Malatesta and ends at Pian Lambs. Entering the woods and pointing the Monte Ceresa you can see immediately a track that climbs steeply for about two hundred yards from the whole face in portage. Arrived almost close to the ridge line markings CAI is divided and then reunited higher. Continuing straight you gain the ridge immediately, even if the path of the most difficult and with reports that disappear. Holding instead on the more marked trail left you will come more easily near the summit of Mount Ceresa, reached by a small path to do forward / back. The trail continues mostly along the beautiful ridge overlooking the massive left of the Carrier and the Valley of Fluvione while on the right you can enjoy the great view over the Fosso di Novele. Following reports C.A.I. will bypass the Moterone and Pizzo Cerqueto finally reaching the Mount Pianamonte. At an altitude of about 1200m on the left is intarprende the descent on the wild path that begins first 402 to meander on the Coast of Rota then engages on a picturesque slope of sandstone cliff that leads into the "paradise of Boulder" that the town of Meschia. The trail descends again towards Uscerno between giant blocks of stone and chestnut trees to finally throw in one of the many ditches dug by small tributaries of Fluvione. Route out of the "classics" of the Apennines Lost that goes far beyond the technicalities of the known trails of Agore, Cocoscia and Piandelloro. Trails wind through exasperated never forgotten places but who are able to convey emotions only if you stop to admire the scenery.
