Trail Description

Let's start this hike dall'alimentari "The Forge" at the entrance of the village of Bassura, we climb into the saddle and head of asphalt in the direction of Acceglio.
Reached the flooded bridge Marmora abandon the SP422 provincial road that leads to Acceglio to turn left on the road to the Col d'Esischie SP113, and then begin to climb and we pass two tunnels and reach the village of Marmora.
Just enter the town turn left still following the provincial road SP113, now slope is steeper slightly until you reach another junction where you leave the road and take a side street on the left.
Climb up to the villages of Serre and then Soda, until you reach Upper Township where we can refuel of water at a fountain to wash this side of the road.
proceed always on asphalt and we come to a church, turn left alongside the building and pass a climb impressively; a few hundred meters and the road regains a normal slope.
The road is paved for a couple of miles then the bitumen leaves the bottom of a nice dirt road that goes through the woods of conifers, always maintaining an excellent background and a constant slope; pass under the hill Intersile North and after a short hill until you come to South Intersile.
From this grassy saddle branches off to the left a path for those who want to leads to peaks of Mount Festival is seen at a short distance, otherwise you start always following the downhill track that descends on the opposite side to the one we climbed.
then go down the dirt road until you reach the left bank of Bedale Intersile, here we leave the road and take the left path down along the river.
The first part of the trail follows the course of water remaining on her right then with a small wood bridge you pass on the left bank of the bedale and continue venturing into the narrow gorge formed by the water until you cross the stream once per return on the left bank.
Now the track goes into the woods of chestnut and continues along until you come to the ruins of the grange Tower Ruins.
Serpeggiamo in the midst of the ruins and back pedaling in the dense forest to reach a crossroads, the path to the left leads to the Grange Ciausegn Ruins and then at the Borgata Garini, while our choice falls on the right track.
So we proceed on the path facing a hairpin and then wade a little trickle of water, still drops a few feet and go along a small waterfall, the trail continues always in the thick forest of chestnut trees until you come out near the village of Combe.
Once you reach the road turn left and cross the village of Combe and continue slightly uphill until you come to Sagna, another small group of houses.
We go into the village and follow the yellow signs Occitan and the paths we take to the left of a small courtyard stones in a path that climbs steeply up in the middle of a grassy slope .
Now we are forced to push the bike for a few minutes until you pass in front of a shrine, from here the path back pedaled and soon spreads to street.
We ride uphill passing by the foot of the parish of albareto, small church with attached at the back of the cemetery, a few more meters of dirt road and come out on the paved road that rises from the valley floor to Palent.
proceed uphill on bitumen for about a mile until you reach the village of Coletto Here we leave the main road for a few meters down the right where there is a fountain on your right and a church on the left; immediately after the fountain we take the left path down ten meters and then turn left and proceed along the hillside in the middle of a pine forest.
The nice cross leads us to village Aramola where we continue straight through the houses, we continue to neglecting off a faint trail that goes off to your right and go down until the church of Aramola.
After passing the church is part of the vegetation and the trail continues through transom and turns until you come on the right bank of the Maira, we cross the bridge and enter in the home of Bassura, short lift immersed in the houses of the village and we find ourselves on the SP422 provincial road that connects with Dronfield Acceglio.
few rides down the valley to return to point of departure.
