Giro del Monte Grosso da Sarzana. Si segue la statale 62 della Cisa verso Santo Stefano poi si sale verso Ponzano. Si seguono carrarecce fino al versante verso Aulla e si aggire Monte Grosso con magnifici panorami sulla catenna appenninica e sulle cime affilate delle Apuane. Si raggiunge la cima del monte pedalando. In discesa ci sono due bei tratti di single track. In particolare il secondo tratto merita un pò di attenzione per alcuni punti scalinati. Ultimo tratto su sterrata facile e asfalto fino a Sarzana. Ottimo giro invernale per chi viene dalla fredda pianura del nord.Photos: See all pictures and videos from Monte Grosso
Giro del Monte Grosso from Sarzana. Follow the SS 62 Cisa to Santo Stefano then climb to Ponzano. Driveways follow up the slope toward Aulla and aggire Monte Grosso with magnificent views of the Apennine catenna and the sharp peaks of the Apuan Alps. You reach the top of the mountain bike. Downhill there are two beautiful stretches of single track. In particular, the second portion deserves a bit of attention for some Stepped points. Last stretch of easy dirt and asphalt up to Sarzana.
