The uphill begins at Varignano and it's quite steep at first. The weather was hot (+30°C) but the track goes in the sun only the first few kilometers. When you got higher, there were lots of trees and you could ride in the shadow. So it was pretty ok up there. When you get up in S. Giovanni al Monte you'll find a nice restaurant. It was asphalt road all the way up.When you're heading down to Lago di Tenno, the track were sand, some parts a bit rocky, some asphalt and some concrete. The track was narrower but quite easy to get down. There were a couple of signs at first, but then there were a few crossroads, which made me think where to ride. I just had to see where all the other tyre tracks were going ;-) And I got some help from a local mountain biker, who also gave me some good hints where to ride when you're in Riva del Garda.
