Splendido giro nel cuore del Parco dei Monti Simbruini. Partenza da Camerata Nuova dal fontanile subito dopo il paese. Si sale subito fino a raggiungere un bivio per proseguire sulla sinistra verso Camposecco. Raggiunto questo splendido pianoro per mezzo di una carrareccia frequentata ahimé da fuoristrada e motocrossisti ma anche da qualche appassionato di trekking, si svolta secco a dx per inoltrarsi nel bosco che sale fino a Livata. Si riscende su asfalto verso dx fino alla grande rotonda dove, sempre a dx, si prende una nuova carrareccia che ci condurrà verso Campaegli-Castel Amato. L'inizio di questo tratto, leggermente impegnativo, risulterà eccezionale per il panorama mozzafiato che ci offrirà. Giunti su asfalto si prosegue a sx per scendere fino al bivio per l'osservatorio di Cervara, famoso per essere luogo di veduta delle stelle cadenti nei giorni a ridosso San Lorenzo. Si prosegue sempre su strada e, prima dell'osservatorio, ci si inoltra sulla destra in una nuova strada bianca che ci ricondurrà verso Camerata Nuova.
Beautiful ride in the heart of the Simbruini Mountains Park. From Camerata from trough immediately after the village. Climb up now to reach a fork to continue on the left towards Camposecco. Reached this beautiful plateau via a cart track alas frequented by off-road and motocrossisti but also by some lovers of trekking, turn dry right to enter the woods that climbs up to Livata. Freewheel down on asphalt to right until the large roundabout, always to the right, you take a new track that will lead us to Campaegli-Castel Amato. The beginning of this stretch, slightly challenging, will be exceptional for the breathtaking panorama that will offer us. Joints on asphalt, continue left to go down to the junction to the Observatory of Cervara, famous for being the place of the stars seen falling in the days near San Lorenzo. Keep going on the road and, before the observatory, you proceed on the right in a new road that will lead us back to Camerata.
