Der Weg beginnt bei der Parkanlage von Bertoldi (1208 m); er führt nach Slaghenaufi, am Soldatenfriedhof vorbei auf der Forststrasse Richtung Spiazzo Alto. Statt jedoch in Richtung Monterovere weiterzufahren, quert man den waldbestandenen Osthang des Monte Tablàt, fährt durch das waldbestandene Tal des Antàl, dann wieder zur Sstr. 349, auf dieser 50 m bis fast zum Passo Cost. Nun fährt man auf einem kleinen Waldweg hinunter über den steilen Südhang des Còst, durch Camini zum Forte Gschwendt/Belvedere (1180 m), das als Museum eingerichtet ist. Nach der Zufahrt zum Forte fährt man die Strasse nordwärts. Nach einem guten Stück verlässt man sie und fährt den Hang abwärts, kreuzt die Gemeindestrasse und erreicht den Ort Oseli, dann über die Strada delle Iaste nach Masi di Sotto (1106 m). Hier schlägt man den Weg ein, der westlich von der Siedlung ausgeht und den Südhang des Monte Rust quert: Er führt weiter am Lago di Lavarone vorbei nach Carbonare (1080 m). Von der Ortsmitte geht es dann über den Südhang der weiten, mit Wiesen überzogenen Talsenke des Elbele, kreuzt den kleinen Asphaltweg der Kläranlage, erreicht die Staatsstrasse und führt bei schwacher Steigung zur Talstation der Anlagen des Monte Rust und zum Restaurant Giardino. Hier über einen ungepflasterten Weg, der die Weiden der Malga Elbele quert, an der Alm vorbei und durch den Wald, den man bei der Siedlung Virti wieder verläßt. Es geht nicht bis in die Siedlung hinein, sondern in nordöstlicher Richtung bis zu einer früheren Militärstrasse, auf der man, wenn man sich rechts hält, rasch zur einstigen österreichisch-ungarischen Kommandostelle gelangt (1135 m), deren Räume ganz in den Felsen gehauen wurden. Die Strecke führt nun wieder zur Hochebene von Lavarone, über Wege und kleine Strassen, auf denen man bald zu der Siedlung Sténgheli (1200 m) und zurück zum Ausgangspunkt Bertoldi gelangt. P.S. Die Tour bin ich teilweise in 2004 gefahren und wurde anhand einer Karte aus diesem Jahr zusammengestellt. Der Praxistest fehlt noch. Ich hoffe, ihn im Sommer 2013 nachholen zu können.
